Watch: Testimony before the Senate Committee in Opposition of SB 212

Even though Senate Bill 212 sailed through the Senate Committee on Criminal Justice (no surprises there), several individuals, including FAC members, showed up in Tallahassee to speak out against Senate Bill 212.

You can watch the testimony here (SB 212 starts at timestamp 20:04 and ends at 39:48)

It appears that sb 212 is headed next to the Judiciary Committee but I can’t see it on the Committee calendar.

Please help me understand. Where is the bill headed now and how can I best keep up with it?

I’ve sent scores of emails regarding sb 212; I like to target my communications to current and upcoming committees.

I understand the testimony is critical to voice and get on the record – and the speakers did an amazing job presenting facts.

These senators obviously have their minds made up and don’t care about listening and analyzing testimony.

    Thanks!

Agree with Wayne, we need to keep targeting successive committee members.
