There is a trend emerging here whenever a teen runs away from home go burn down a registry’s home and kill someone. Is this a good time to be handing out people’s names addresses and criminal convictions that may or may not be accurate or justly made. Anarchy in the making.
It’s not illegal for a person, any person, to wash their vehicle, pretend to wash their vehicle, or have a playground in their back yard (with or without a fence). Fairbanks has been brainwashed and his main hope is that laws are changed; for what, IDK.

There has been time for him and/or his lawyer to come up with these talking points for the interview to play to the court of public opinion to taint the potential jury. james Fairbanks confession he sent to the media CLEARLY STATED he went to Condoluci’s house because he could not sit idly by when he HAD THE MEANS TO STOP HIM. That is Premeditation, and thus First Degree Murder. If he gets anything less than life, it would be an injustice.

If he walks for premeditated murder Condoluci’s son should sue Fairbanks, Douglas County, and the state of Nebraska for the death of his father. Noteworthy is that prosecutors with high profile cases that they don’t have a shot of winning do the same thing – put their case out in the press because it doesn’t hold water in court – in part to plant seeds in potential jurors’ heads and lay public unrest at the judge’s feet. I’d bet my left nut that this was orchestrated by his lawyer. Usually, a criminal defense attorney would instruct their clients not to speak to reporters and route all interview requests to them (the lawyer). A request to jail staff to not allow press visits with their clients is common, if not routine. Reasonably certain that the lawyer set up this interview, an exclusive for a previously friendly (to his client) media organization, rife with slightly altered statements of fact.
Doubt his attorney is going shit besides waiting on a plea dumb ass would accept.

Good article but I personally still have issues with these “good articles”. They spend more time talking about child molestation than they do the situation of the man the article begins with. They say “what about the victims” and keep referring to underage teens as “innocent children”.
Pardon me for being more realistic but when a teenager KNOWS they’re not legal age yet makes his/her own decision to make a profile on a dating site/app, that “child” is hardly innocent.
Where does this term of “innocent child” even match up with horny, curious teenagers anyway? Is it because they’re not yet legal? So if the legal age of a state is 16 but a 15 yr old makes a profile on a dating site and lies about her age, she’s “innocent” for being 1 yr under the legal age law? Spare me!
This is not going to be a popular opinion but truth usually isn’t popular- Funny how when it comes to the NATURAL INSTINCT of sexual intimacy (coming of age) the younger person is an “innocent child”, but the same “innocent child” can stab their sibling in a fight and get charged like an adult criminal.

The article would have been much better if the journalist grew a pair and told it like it is and continued to talk about other such cases and maybe elaborate more on the “peeing in a bush” and other nonsense that gets a person on the registry. But no! She veered right into the child molestation cases as they always do.
How about men who rub up or grope grown women in night clubs on the dance floor? People (men especially, like the ones who leave negative comments about how they’ll kill anyone who touches their daughters) are prone to believing that a butt grab of an adult woman in a night club isn’t a sex offense.
When a journalist elaborates more on these issues and stops pandering to the obsession of those who want to hear about child molestation all the time, then I can say it’s a DAMN GOOD article.

When he said that people on the registry shouldn’t have done what they did to get there, the interviewer should have had the knowledge to come back at him with ALL the things that can get adults AND TEENAGERS on that damn registry. When important facts like those are left out, it’s no wonder the entire society is misinformed.

There must be an end to the public registry, those family members affected should file suit where the state and federal governments are liable for continuing to support vigilantism by means of the public registry!

The end of the registry may be closer then ever when they start having a registry for Police Officers mis-conduct. I believe it will include addresses also. This madness has to stop and let folks atone for their mistakes and live a decent life. A lot of folks forget that the Sex Offender Registry is not all about child molesters. It also includes wrongfully accused people, people that has taken a plea deal due to police tactics, someone urinating on the ground, some states will put a parent on the registry for kidnapping their own children from the other parent, young teens that had sex and the girls parents didn’t like it, exposing their self while intoxicated…etc… Being on the registry is not 3 strikes and your on. It can be intent ,or one strike and your on for life. It’s a life sentence where as drunk driving (Mr. Ron Book) and possibility killing someone doesn’t mean you will always get a life sentence. Robbing people or breaking in someones home, doesn’t give you a life sentence on strike one. People can and do change as they grow older. Sex Offenders are no exception. I’m sure there is not a 40 year old that looks back to their 20’s and says “what the hell was i thinking”? and that can cover a lot of territory. The Sex Offender Registry is social injustice at it’s height and a cash cow for the states. Do some research and see who is responsible for the Federal Gov. giving out “round up money” to the states every year.
How many adults look at older teens and people in their early 20s thinking where were you when I was that age.

It is amazing the telepathy powers Mr. Fairbanks gives himself credit for having. And he considered himself so much more informed than anyone else in matters concerning sex offenders. Especially concerning a person which he admits he never met or talked to previously. Yet he claimed to know what he was thinking , what he was planning on doing, the hundreds of victims he already had but which nobody knew of but him. He knew of plea deals he had made on previous convictions and how they had let him off easy,though he had no facts to back it up. He knew of all this by looking at him. He was over 6 ft. Clearly he had other options, which further show that this murder was premeditated. All other options, which also including calling to police, whom also are required by law to notify neighbors, were off the table.
He must have excellent night vision though: seeing the victim washing his truck; staring at kids; seeing playground equipment in his backyard while apartment hunting at 9:30pm. Someone ask him what he did to get such great night vision. Obviously he isn’t playing with a full deck with a restraining order against him; yet according to his ex he’s a good man. I had not planned on listening to this interview because I knew it would be a bunch of garbage. I only made it halfway through. It has made me sick to my stomach.
These are some of my thoughts:
He refers to registrants as sex offenders. His clear implication is that anyone on the registry has a permanent job as being a sex offender. All current data (including the U. S. Department of Justice) shows that the re-offense rate (committing a second sex offense) is in the single digits, when everyone is taken collectively. That means that there are hundreds of thousands of registrants in this country who have NOT committed a second sex offense. Mr. Fairbanks is the one who is dangerous — not the registrants.
I would like to see a video to back up his claims that he was stalking the children. Could it be that the deceased was concerned that they might end up on his property, get hurt, and then sue him? Is it illegal to watch kids? He would not leave until the kids did. I would not either if I were concerned that they might end up on our property and I would be held liable for their safety while on my property.
He makes himself out to be the “savior” of the world. He is also the same guy that his wife had to have some kind of court order taken out on him because she was afraid of what he might do to her. He also had some type of institutional mental health care. (This in itself means nothing. I hope anyone who needs mental health services will seek them out.) But there was some type of mental instability with this guy.
He is trying to play up the playground equipment. Did the deceased purchase and install this equipment? Or was it a rental house where the owner had put it up years ago? It looked dilapidated to me. Was he using it to lure children to his home? No evidence of that. Research shows that approximately 93% of victims KNOW their perpetrators, meaning they are not strangers to them as this guy would have been.
He is claiming self defense. Not his intention to shoot anyone, yet he admits he brought the gun to threaten him You don’t, as a stranger, walk into someone’s home pointing a gun at them and claim self defense. The deceased is the one who would claim self defense if he had lived.
He implied that the statistics with “these guys” of re-offending is high. I have stated above what research says about that.
He is trying to get people to see him as a hero — don’t worry about me — it is all about saving the kids. This guy is one big con artist.
The deceased had broken no laws. His son even said that his father had turned around and was trying to live a life as a law-abiding citizen.

This video should be sent to every politicians, asking why did they create laws that contribute to vigilantism. Those laws for public safety created a public hazard.
I think the legislators did this on purpose to misdirect their misconduct and corruption while in office. With high rare profile cases in the news; emotions ramped up; and Supreme Court frightening and high decision, perfect recipe for useless laws to justify getting re-elected protecting the children.

I really have no desire to watch this. My question is why are they interviewing him and letting him spew his little manifesto? I guess the $64,000 question is whether his lawyers will resign or just try to use this as a proof that he is in sane? I’m sure you can find a jury that will ignore the law and acquit him on that basis.
