The petition ended with just over 500 supporters. Sorry.

This person is the embodiment of all the ingnorance that is out there and the media is giving them an open mic (over 25 minutes!!!) to spew their delusions. People will be more likely to believe this man rather than the truth, so be forewarned.

You can (at a minimum) go over to YouTube and dislike the video and any comments that support his actions. You don’t have to comment and identify yourself. Don’t let their hatred be met with silence. Let your voices be heard!

I printed off my comments here and mailed it. Anyone else could do the same.

The end of the registry may be closer then ever when they start having a registry for Police Officers mis-conduct. I believe it will include addresses also. This madness has to stop and let folks atone for their mistakes and live a decent life. A lot of folks forget that the Sex Offender Registry is not all about child molesters. It also includes wrongfully accused people, people that has taken a plea deal due to police tactics, someone urinating on the ground, some states will put a parent on the registry for kidnapping their own children from the other parent, young teens that had sex and the girls parents didn’t like it, exposing their self while intoxicated…etc… Being on the registry is not 3 strikes and your on. It can be intent ,or one strike and your on for life. It’s a life sentence where as drunk driving (Mr. Ron Book) and possibility killing someone doesn’t mean you will always get a life sentence. Robbing people or breaking in someones home, doesn’t give you a life sentence on strike one. People can and do change as they grow older. Sex Offenders are no exception. I’m sure there is not a 40 year old that looks back to their 20’s and says “what the hell was i thinking”? and that can cover a lot of territory. The Sex Offender Registry is social injustice at it’s height and a cash cow for the states. Do some research and see who is responsible for the Federal Gov. giving out “round up money” to the states every year.

How many adults look at older teens and people in their early 20s thinking where were you when I was that age.

I have a very extensive list of vigilante violence, including nearly 200 murders attributed to those on the registry. It will be presented to the Nebraska legislature when they reopen.

You may want to send it by certified mail so that you have proof of service. Would you be willing to send a copy to the Florida Legislature as well?

Can the Florida legislators even read? From the bills they pass Id say that’s a no.

It is amazing the telepathy powers Mr. Fairbanks gives himself credit for having. And he considered himself so much more informed than anyone else in matters concerning sex offenders. Especially concerning a person which he admits he never met or talked to previously. Yet he claimed to know what he was thinking , what he was planning on doing, the hundreds of victims he already had but which nobody knew of but him. He knew of plea deals he had made on previous convictions and how they had let him off easy, though he had no facts to back it up. He knew of all this by looking at him. He was over 6 ft. And over 300 lbs. of coarse anyone would recognize this as a dangerous sex offender but nobody seemed to see it but him,so he had to act by killing him to protect the world. What a hero.
Or could it be that Mr. Fairbanks was so filled up with false information and prejudice from obsession with reading lop sided horror stories and then given the green light to act by a public registry and the fact that by his name he appeared to be Latino who everyone knows are nothing but drug dealers and thieves who rape kids. From his own admission Mr. Fairbanks is nothing but a cold blooded murder stemming from prejudice and hate . Yes plainly a hate crime.

Don’t confuse “Latino” with “Hispanic”. Latin also consists of French, Portuguese, Romanian and Italian. This man’s last name seems to be of Italian descent.

        Maestro
Thank you for the correction. The point I was trying to make is that he had the mans name from the registry so could pre judge him according to his own preconceived prejudice.

If he was that concerned for those kids, like he claims he was.
He could have pulled over, put down his window and told them.
” Hey, that dude washing his truck, and staring at you, is a perv”
That’s ” if” his account is accurate which I doubt.
But yeah, simply warn the kids if he was that worried about it.

It’s still sort of a crappy thing to do, but his victim would be alive, and he wouldn’t be in jail.

I know my loved one often stands on our porch and smokes, and stares of into space.
I wouldn’t like it too much if someone drove up and yelled calling him a perv or about him being on the registry, but it sure beat him being shot.

Clearly he had other options, which further show that this murder was premeditated. All other options, which also including calling to police, whom also are required by law to notify neighbors, were off the table.

He must have excellent night vision though: seeing the victim washing his truck; staring at kids; seeing playground equipment in his backyard while apartment hunting at 9:30pm. Someone ask him what he did to get such great night vision. Obviously he isn’t playing with a full deck with a restraining order against him; yet according to his ex he’s a good man. I’m good men don’t commit cold blooded murder for past crimes. This isn’t the Wild West anymore!!
