I know that Dr Phil is not going to say anything that ruffles the perspective of the general American public but i was a bit surprised that the 5 min clip after the main part he hammered the hell out of not speaking to police. He did it over and over and over. Kind of makes me feel like he knows how corrupt the police are. I mean why else would he sit there for five minutes telling his viewers not to speak to police. It wasn’t trust the police but be wary. It was pretty much dont trust police.

The 50 min mark was the best, the defense attorney was on point. Mostnof these cases arent people actively looking for kids. I wasnt axtively looking for child porn. I was on lineqire and it just showed up in my searches. Most of these internet sting people werent looking for a child and were in adult only chats. There are various variables to the nature of humanity that cause this, but its not that these guys are child predators. Theyre just lonely nerds that want some affection. And with all the crazy “you can be whatever you want” in todays society, people are confused

Shows the again go on adult sites. They find first times and weak ones and set it up. Its all about mic time, tv time, etc. to lies to public to save their careers and budget. Follow the money. I seen FL officers have sex charges etc. and I can bet they get slap on wrist but of their job. They not out to save nothing budget that $$$$$$ for the toys so they don’t have to do real work. Easy hook line and catch. They go online create fake adult profiles and lie about it in checking the box saying they over 18 that we would be in trouble for lying about if checked it but its ok for LE to do it just to fill the beds. They watched “How to catch a Predator” (that got canceled) and took the idea to boost the arrest numbers and fill beds. And they never going to be honest to public because it will demolish there Rep. LE does nothing wrong and that’s a big joke its like are government reps. etc. don’t lie and ripe off the tax payer. Its all loads of bull and not many will fight to prove it!

Unfortunately, most people don’t fully understand that police posed as someone seeking casual sex. Then police pretended to be a minor who was doing this (seeking casual sex with adults), and on top of that telling these adults that they are minors doing this.
It’s not something that really happens. People saying that a minor would have been raped don’t realize they have also fallen for the police’s lies and stupid game. No minor would have ever been “raped” because there are no real minors pushing sex (casual/free sex) on adults who are seeking that on adult sites. Someone who has fallen for that (for whatever reason) is not a child predator. The police use a lot of deceitful tactics to get people to give in. They don’t show all that.

People who are saying these men would have “raped” a child are ignorant. These young men had (before this) and have (after this) spent a lot of time in video game chat rooms, where there are real minors. If they were going to try to “rape” a minor, that’s exactly where they would be trying that. That has never happened! Common sense!

After reading a few comments and pondering how I was in my late teens and early twenties, I wanted to leave a few words about this subject being debated. Knowing the kind of young man I was in the early 80s,’ those police tactics could never work on me. I learned very quickly, as a teenager growing up in California (I’m grieved to say this, but I learned then, from bitter experience), most police cannot be trusted. The Miranda Rights tell us that: 2. Anything you say, can and will be used against you. Back in the early 70s,’ the States and Federal courts called these kinds of stings, highly illegal, unethical, and immoral. But, here we are years later, an illegal act then is permissible today. In my opinion, if I know certain young men- and most young men do- have a propensity to attractive teenage girls, then set a bait (pretending to be a teenage girl) to lure them in, I am in league with the devil. The Bible declares God does not tempt any person. I can say from the corner of my mouth one thing and from another corner, contradict it. The native Indians called it ‘Fork tongue.’ These online sex stings are highly illegal and unconstitutional. The Courts know it, but turn a blind eye to it. In some ways, what is happening across the globe, especially in America, is a result of open hypocrisy. Jeffery Epstein is an example. It is believed he was killed while in federal prison because of the ties he had with uncountable politicians, the wealthy, and Celebrities. I tried to watch the show, but could not. I truly feel for all who are on these public excess Sex Offender Registries, which should have never happened. But, as politics is (as Gorge Orwell describes in his essay, Shooting the Elephant) they wilfully corrupt themselves through hypocrisy.

Now that you’ve viewed the final edit of the show, would you still recommend it to people who may not be informed about this issue? Should they watch?

Just watched the entire episode, and what a freaking joke. It would’ve been nice if someone had challenged that pretentious cop (and even the defense attorney,
he was a joke too) about the fact they use ADULT sites to entrap these guys, and photos of adult women(like in the case of the gamer).

I’m not sure why anyone would put themselves through this on tv.

I hate to say “I told you so” but this isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve seen this crap from Dr. Phil, Oprah and others for far too long. They never tell the real truth that we all know because that is not what sells. Sex scandals always sell…always have, always will. I dont know why anyone would ever try to present their sex offense story like this. The only times I’ve seen it play out well is when a defendant has been cleared of all charges by DNA or actual innocence claims. Even then, its a tough sell.
