And those of us not Christian are denied the RIGHT to celebrate the religious holiday Samhein because some schmuck decided to give candy out.

For years we taught kids not to take candy from strangers however on one day they are to go beg for it from strangers. Does the irony ever hit anyone?

My religious rights were never stripped by a court of law but the legislature unconstitutionally removed them.

I’m tempted to be a test case!

“Mommy, Daddy, do I need to go sit on that old guys lap to get Christmas presents?”

“That is Santa, of course you do.”

“Last year he had really bad breath.”

Good funny story but we all know it is not funny because we are subject to compliance checks for some of the dumbest things in the Universe. Meanwhile crime is rampant all-around cities and towns, yet those people do not get caught or are given a break. Meanwhile, a piece of paper (Forgetting to register something) can lead to an arrest and jail or prison.

If we had a time machine, so many things could be corrected. What is even more scary is, every session we get piled on more and more restrictions and requirements. Something has to give and I am afraid of what that might mean for both sides of the scheme. (Registry)

Love it! I found myself laughing and wanted to cry at the same time.
