ACSOL: New Federal COVID Bill Provides Funding for Registrant Management

Congress passed a new bill yesterday that is primarily focused upon COVID issues. Hidden in that legislation, which totals more than $900 billion, is about $200 million for the management of individuals required to register as sex offenders.

The largest amount of funding for the management of registrants is $179 million for expenses related to “community supervision and sex offender registration” including expenses related to a protection order. In addition, the legislation provides $20 million for “sex offender management assistance” pursuant to the Adam Walsh Act and $1 million for the National Sex Offender public website.

So here in Duval county Florida they require you to pay a 25$ fee every time you register with the threat of being locked up if you can’t or refuse to pay it.

      Derek

Where are homeless people supposed to get $25?

I think if I was homeless and nowhere to go, jail might actually be ok as you would get a bed, showers, meals and “some” medical care on the taxpayers money. Just making the point that the authorities would rather take care of all of us, in custody than have you walking free.

Having said that, locking someone up for not being able to pay a fine if they are indigent, is supposedly illegal. Instead they charge the person with a general registry requirement violation.

Keeping a certain class of citizens in slavery means money to some politicians. They couldn’t care less about safety and security. The only thing they want to secure is their paychecks.

I forgot to say, having to pay for registration seems sneakily similar to fines and fees that are imposed with probation, which would again, be a form of punishment. For in fact, if you cannot pay, there is a chance you could be punished for not meeting your registration requirements?

So, Therefore, NARSOL and FAC will continue, to perhaps DEFLATE the $28 BILLION MORASS…..ALL WE CAN DO IS TO DECREASE THE PAYOUTS, TO the ‘FALSE PRETENSES’…..CORRECT!….STOP MORE HATRED AND RESPOND WITH EMPIRICAL INFORMATION!

Captain Charles M’s Comment Sums it Up Correctly:

“Safety is a miniscule part of the total effort. Reducing the registry down to the true threats would mean the loss of ‘piles’ of money and jobs performed by those who occupy a desk under false pretenses.”

The Registry is a $28 Billion Industry..The Direct Costs are currently $8 Billion per year…the other $20 Billion are indirect Costs….

So ‘those officials’ who receive a Bi-Weekly Paycheck in air conditioned/heated offices and Drive Brand New SUV’s, well are THE ‘false pretenses’; most of which are educated BUT HAVE NO CLUE to what DAMAGES and FUTURE DAMAGES THEY ARE COMMITTING!

It IS ALL ABOUT DOLLARS…IT IS A $28 BILLION DOLLAR ENTERPRISE….

Even my billionaire friends/colleagues have told me, there is NO WAY TO STOP this……The Only Way is Through the Legislatures….This will NOT EVER OCCUR IN OUR LIFE TIMES….

Breaking down a $8 Billion Federal and State enterprises’ is NO EASY TASK…..

It is the other $20 Billion Dollar associated businesses that are the Leaches!

Is there a way to find out which senators or representatives were behind this part of the bill?
