AR: Man facing child porn charges killed in jail

A man facing child porn charges was killed in an Arkansas jail, and now five inmates are accused of murder, police say.

Terry Craig, 44, was booked into the Monroe County Detention Center after noon on Friday, Aug. 8, on charges of possession of child sexual abuse materials, and possession of a firearm by certain persons, Arkansas State Police said in a news release.

Later that day, jail staff found Craig injured inside his cell, according to police. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Unfortunately these individuals will be seen by some as heroes for depriving a man of his constitutional rights to due process and acting as judge jury and executioner and unless these attacks become classified as hate crimes and real punishment is handed out it will continue to happen sad to say

I’m disappointed that the five suspects weren’t named. Time for some game theory to determine who the actual murderers were. And I hope they were in for something petty and thought they were going home in 6 months, but now face LWOP. Go ahead and shake everyone down in the cell block, big guy. It’ll only last as long as that first trip to the SHU.
