Bad News: EPF I Dismissed Again

We just received the upsetting news that the “Ex Post Facto I” case was dismissed AGAIN! This case was originated in 2018, dismissed, appealed to the 11th Circuit, remanded back to the district court (the same court that originally dismissed it), and was set for trial in a few months. The district court has once again dismissed the case. The order is below.

Attorneys Val Jonas and Beth Weitzner, who along with others, have dedicated nearly a decade to this challenge, are not giving up and as soon as this order is digested, will be coming up with next steps. We will keep you informed. In the mean time, this is very upsetting news for our population in Florida.

Heck of a setback. Looking forward to hearing what next steps are. We only lose when we give up.

Or until we will admit that the system is rigged and we will NEVER win in court.

The States of the USA (not just Florida) have twisted justice so much that they’ve made a mockery of the very words engraved in the marble over the front door of the Supreme Court of the United States: EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW!

I recently stood and looked at these very words in letters so large that one could read them from a hundred feet away. I wondered how they could be so mocked!

The United States system of justice has betrayed us again and again! This is infamy and tyranny to the most extreme!

I am taxed, and my vote is stolen from me! I am taxed and I am exiled from the public square and its accoutrements that my taxes help to pay!

The legal system has failed to give us equal justice!

Judge kicked the can down the road, again. Federal judges don’t care because they are appointed for life.

Folks, disparaging the judge isn’t likely to make this any better for us.

Jacob, it’s way past time to call them out. Do you really think kissing their buttons helps?

Just be glad that the registry is NOT punishment or lifetime probation. Just paperwork…

The system doesn’t care if you suffer as long as it doesn’t pertain to them. If you want real change, you have to be prepared to take major risks.
