Book’s ‘Childlike Sex Doll’ Bill advances

I just had to laugh at the debate over this stupid bill that took place in the Florida legislature yesterday. To back up; Senator Lauren Book whose life mission is to perpetuate panic and fear over anything sexual in order to stoke funding for her charity, has proposed a bill to ban ‘childlike sex dolls’. It would be illegal to own, borrow, lend one out, etc…

You have to wonder how they are going to make a determination on what’s ‘child like’. Would the next phase of this bill require that sex dolls come with birth certificates, like a Cabbage Patch Kid? Are they going to train a forensic expert to determine whether the doll is 14? Will there be strict liability or will ‘but officer, the packaging said she was 19’ be a defense? Will the age of consent be a factor on determining whether 16 or 18 are the threshold?

If you thought these considerations on ‘childlike sex dolls’ are laughable, wait until you hear the arguments from actual politicians on the topic of ‘childlike sex dolls’:

  • Sen. Lauren Book: “It’s like tempting an addict with their drug of choice, These kids deserve being protected.”

Really Lauren? These are blobs of plastic. Maybe, as Therapist Richard Siegel argued yesterday, the dolls enable someone to get their fix and thereby protect REAL kids?

  • Congressman Dan Donovan,”The dolls and robots not only lead to rape, but they make rape easier by teaching the rapist about how to overcome resistance and subdue the victim,”

Seriously? What’s wrong with you, Dan? What goes through your mind to come up with these things? The same can be said of CPR dummies.

We’re not going to waste our effort on doing a call to action for this bill. We don’t really care if it passes because the feedback we’ve gotten is that it’s simply laughable and we all can’t wait to watch the law play out!

Where is this going to end. Some of this is just laughable. Florida is just getting so bad. If it weren’t for the weather I would move back North to PA. I have been here for seven years now and own my home and have good neighbors and love the weather. so I guess I’m just going to have to stay where I am. One thing that has no bearing on the subject, but I received an invoice from the Toll enforcement with my license number which is on my Dodge 2500 truck. and a picture of a car which I don’t even own a car. It is only $0.80 but I have never been on any Toll road in Florida. And I am not paying it… Just another screw up from Florida.

My son received two driving violations from Southern Florida County. 1. He had never been to that county. 2. He was in prison @ the time.

Perhaps this bill will save the lives of children! Assume only persons registered in teaching pediatric first aid are allowed to purchase lifelike CPR manikins: Pedophiles will learn pediatric first aid including CPR to obtain a child CPR manikin. Any parent needing to obtain 1st aid for their child can use the sex offender registry to locate men who may have obtained this training!

This “senator” must be as drunk as her daddy was when he just got busted for DUI when he put his Lamborghini in a ditch and caused another driver to flip his vehicle and then refused a breathalyzer.

FAC, this made my day! I couldn’t stop laughing! The truth is, Florida does not need an legislative session annually. We have too many laws on the books now. They are running out of practical, rational laws to propose so they dream up garbage like this. In my opinion, it makes them look like idiots. The sad thing is these shallow, selfish individuals could care less that their own future generations will deal with this foolishness….

They need to stay relevant. I wouldn’t be surprise if senators like Lauren Book already has the next decade planned with ideas for bills. She is just bringing them light gradually on an annual or seasonal basis.
