CA: Fremont murder suspect allegedly admits to targeting sex offenders

A man accused in a deadly Fremont stabbing last week allegedly admitted to police that he was targeting registered sex offenders as potential victims.

Varun Suresh, 29, of Fremont, has been charged with murder in connection to the stabbing death of a 71-year-old man that occurred Thursday. “Evidence at the scene indicated a violent struggle,” Fremont PD said. “The victim was suffering from significant stab wounds” as responding officers arrived.

According to Fremont police “Suresh admitted that he sought out registered sex offenders as potential victims.”

The victim was at a decided disadvantage due to his age. Thinking that, because he made it safely through 30 years free from crime, it would earn him some community respect, he discovered to his horror that apparently no amount of living peacefully will earn everyone’s respect.

We cannot talk rationally to most people about this issue. The irrationality of the murderer’s actions and of those who advocate violence, or even for registries are beyond the ability to reason with. We need to take steps to protect ourselves, because no one will come to help us in time and few will mourn our deaths when we are assassinated like this person was.

Everyone should take steps to use the best self-defense strategies legally permissible to them. If anyone wants to elaborate more on this, feel free to open a discussion.

I wanted to share the following from another source that gave more details frim the filthy murderer:

    https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/crime/california-stabbing-sex-offender-suspect-court-b2832219.html

“Court documents released on Monday claim that Suresh told police that he had wanted to kill a sex offender for years because “they hurt children.” He reportedly also told them that all sex offenders “deserve to die” and explained his rationale for the alleged killing.”

“It is not your duty to decide whether Heaven will accept them, it’s your duty to send them to the gates,” he allegedly said…

According to police, Suresh did not know (the victim).

When investigators searched Suresh’s phone, they reportedly found screenshots of several profiles on the Megan’s Law website. The site includes names, addresses, physical descriptions, photos, and convictions of those on the registry.

The screenshot of (the victim’s) profile was reportedly taken about 45 minutes before the first 911 call was made to reporting the stabbings, according to police…

“I’m hoping that because [the victim is] a pedophile… like, everyone hates pedophiles… so like, it should be cool. It should be cool,” Suresh allegedly said, according to court documents.

Investigators claim in post-arrest interviews Suresh said he was “not sorry” for killing Brimmer and that he “didn’t feel sad at all,” and went so far as to describe murdering the man as “honestly really fun.”

Suresh was previously arrested in 2021 for making a fake bomb threat, for making criminal threats, and for burglary after he left a suspicious bag at Hyatt Place, where Fremont police had shot and killed a suspect in an unrelated incident the previous night.

After his 2021 arrest, Suresh reportedly told police that he believed the CEO of Hyatt Hotels “was a pedophile, that he wanted to kill him, that he was ‘hunting’ the CEO and had been for a while.”

And they worry about PFRs who are long safe?! This guy needed to be committed.

PFRs need to be aware of the stand your ground laws and self-defense laws of their area so if they need to defend themselves from such people as seen here, they can be in the clear of the danger they felt and the threat in the air perceived. Knowing what to say afterwards to LE (only WITH an atty present) will be best. Don’t talk or say anything without an atty present. PFRs are already at a disadvantage, as we know, so play their game the smart way….invoke the 5th Amendment right you have.

This was the exact intent of the publishing of faces, names and addresses on the website. It’s because of this success, that the website will never be removed. That’s it’s purpose.

The number of vingilantism deaths just keeps growing and will probably continue.
This kind of publicity is, unfortunately, exactly what we need to help get our names and faces OFF of the internet.
He may be hailed as a hero in prison, but being a ‘prison hero’ or a prison ‘anything’ doesn’t carry any weight of glory except among other criminals that did evil in society as well, so getting glory from someone else who is evil is only ‘evil glory’, which is no glory at all.
Some people also consider criminals that kill sex offenders as ‘criminal justice’.
However, when we look at the rationality of ‘A criminal killing another criminal for being a criminal they feel is worse than themself, it is still a criminal killing another criminal for being a criminal and that is NOT justice.
Justice CANNOT be administered by the unjust because it is paradoxically impossible.
The unjust cannot bring forth justice!

A “hero” for stabbing a 71 year old? I doubt that will earn the 29 year old coward too much cred or clout in prison. Eff him.

….And those who still believe in our government. How many of our family members, who may or MAY NOT have done something wrong, will continue to be subjected to vigilantes?!! The registry needs to be taken out of public view and be made, once again, only available to law enforcement.
