FAC addresses suspicious survey and invites “investigator” to answer concerns

This week, a suspicious invitation to participate in a “survey” was sent to every registered email on the Florida Sex Offender registry.

Today, we sent the following letter to the academic who is allegedly behind this survey, inviting him to answer to some glaring concerns we all have. We will update this post if he responds.

I got the same letter on my personal email but not on my company email yesterday.

Excellent letter! Well done to copy the university’s president and make him aware of the potential legal ramifications of this ill-considered survey. 👍

Thanks Gail. The best way to verify the veracity of the survey is by contacting the school directly. I was just getting ready to send them a certified letter.

First thing I did was emailed a letter of concern forward to Southwestern University Kansas administration and legal departments. So far, no response! JEV

Thank you, I received the E-Mail, and stared at it, because it’s going to be asking asking questions that could be used against me,even though it says it won’t…..I get home checks every 3 weeks and calls from police,I don’t need any more drama….

I had previously said I only got the invite at one of my emails but today I got it all of my registered emails. So yeah, someone got a list of our registered emails.
I took the survey assuming it was part of the study we did a few weeks back that FAC had posted. Very odd timing. And like I said, No personal information was asked ( name, address, etc ) because I guess they already knew it.
Also all the questions that pertained to violations (25-50) I skipped because I did not violate and would not have answered even if I did duh.

And this is another reason why so many are so grateful to FAC. Thank you.
