The operators of ClearMyCase.com have a new scam and they are going after the same victims – people required to register. John Bordelon, the man behind ClearMyCase is now again using the registry as a marketing list to pitch FINDYOUAPLACE.COM. They charge an up-front $99 and claim to find housing for registrants. The FBI is investigating a Florida police sergeant who is accused of using his department’s database to find women who he would then harass for dates, while both on and off duty. “This behavior may have been going on for years, stretching as far back as 2012,” the Police Chief said, according to the Washington Post article that reported it.

The Seattle Police Department, along with the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, say they arrested five people and “rescued 26 victims of sex trafficking” earlier this month during raids of nearly a dozen businesses in the Chinatown-International and Beacon Hill districts.
