The FBI has launched an investigation into the apparent suicide of billionaire and alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, the agency said in a press release Saturday.
While law enforcement officers indicated Epstein had killed himself, the New York City Chief Medical Examiner has yet to make an official ruling on his cause of death.
“We are investigating the cause of death and we have an open case,” a representative said. “There is no official cause of death yet — the medical examiner has to do their job.”
So the autopsy has been done. Now, that can’t say one way or another whether it was a suicide or a homicide. My money is still on homicide. Too many “coincidences.” Cameras not working, guards asleep, yadda, yadda, yadda. Cover up in progress.
Hey that sounds like the results of a lot of CPT findings “Everything is normal but that don’t mean it didn’t happen”
It was a ‘Combination of Both’; Meds with self-suffocation…
Remember, his Financial Assets are Currently Legally Subject and Put on Hold by the Current AG of the Territory in which He Resided

I posted early on on this issue and having time to reflect a bit I have had a couple of additional thoughts.
1. Regarding the conspiracy issues, assuming there are lots of people JE had dirt on, why did they not take him out BEFORE he was in a high security detention center. Certainly would have been a lot easier and probably less expensive….if that is what actually happened.
2. JE was use to living an opulent and decadent life style. Now he was in by all accounts in a pit of a jail with more to come. No more “good life” for him. He knew a day of facing his accusers and extreme humiliation was coming. Considering the egotistical and selfish nature of the man, he may have simply decided this was all the life he wanted to live. The rest of the train wreck in that jail is incidental but revealing of just how poorly managed the place was.
There are basically two choices. One is a very complex conspiracy involving several bad actors that both paid and got paid a lot of money. Their job was so professional and good, it looks like a suicide except the whole thing stinks. The second is, the guy was a jerk, had obvious psychological health issues and simply opted not to face the music. In death as in life, he took the path he thought best for himself. What a miserable and pathetic place he must have come to to take that final step.
For anyone that sees this as a solution, please tell someone and accept the help graciously. As long as you have breath, you have life and value. With life, you have the ability to make changes for yourself and others.

I respect your opinion but I’m sticking with mine although I don’t expect it to ever be proved. Was it just coincidence his cell mate was an ex police officer? Watch that he doesn’t at some point get released especially early for good behavior. There making a big deal that the guards didn’t make there 30 min. Rounds. Which doesn’t make any sense whether or not they did or not, 15 min is plenty of time to commit suicide, you don’t need hours, or even an hour. Or the cell mates family might get some extra money in some form or another, but don’t expect it to ever be proven.
My God. Enough with the conspiracy theories.
He lived a lavish life of criminal behavior and wealth. He was now living with rats, roaches and jail filth.
Chances of ever getting out were slim to none, and slim snitched on him.
He killed himself. Come next legislative session we are all going to pay his price.
I wish they’d give as much attention to other registrants who are murdered or harmed.
He was silenced. He obviously threatened to snitch on some VERY powerful people unless they got him out of there.
They figured it’d be easier to just whack him and send in their own “investigators” to cover it up.
It’s all good though, God isn’t blind and their day is coming up pretty fast 🙂
I’ve heard a lot of criticism of conspiracy theorists and who stood more to lose than whom but suicide ( aided or not) and murder are both relatively plausible in this case. The fear of Mr Epstein naming very high profile names from politicians to business leaders entertainers to even royals made a lot of people very nervous let’s be real money and power kept him alive after the florida case it may have killed him to we all know anyone with money and power can’t be fully trusted. On the flip side he was facing 40 years fed time and to a 66 year old that’s a death sentence by itself couple that with the lifestyle he had that could push him over the edge. I attempted suicide twice while waiting for my case to run it’s course fortunately for me God knew better than I did and wasn’t ready to pass judgement on me yet. I don’t think we will ever know the truth
How do we know he is truly dead? He did not die at the prison but at the hospital. Is it so hard to imagine a scenario where he took something in his cell, was found unresponsive, taken to the hospital where his body was swapped with another, and he was smuggled out the side. Exactly how many people would need to be involved.
Trump and company certainly had a lot to lose, too. Don’t forget that BOTH PARTIES are linked to Epstein so stop pretending this is a partisan issue.
What i would like to know is if Ron Book or his idiot daughter have any ties to Epstein given Epstein’s ties to South FloriDUH, and that was the REAL reason for Lauren’s odd ranting as of late.
That’s a very good point. Didn’t even think about that. There’s truly no telling what all the BCF (Book Crime Family) is really involved in.
I’m highly suspicious. They shut him up real quick – too quick actually.
If one in the circle of power gets caught, then the others in that circle are threatened as well. Epstein’s secrets will be buried with him and that is how they want it. With money and power anything is possible.
I can’t wait to see the feeding frenzy of his alleged victims and their attorneys as they gut his estate. Remember, it’s always about the money.
Oh, and if anybody believes he committed suicide, I have some land about 10 miles west of Sunrise to sell you.
There is no way to stop someone from killing themselves if they really want to while in jail or prison. He undoubtedly knew the correct responses to the questions from mental health people to convince them that he was no longer considering suicide. The truly sad part is that the reason the media and politicians are all demanding a more thorough investigation is because the guy was rich. You don’t see that level of concern for mentally ill poor inmates. Michigan did away with the “not guilty by reason of insanity” plea years ago, resulting in a growth in the number of seriously mentally ill inmates, who are then given very little truly effective treatment. They simply load them up daily with psych drugs, and hope that they don’t hurt others or themselves.
No one in their right mind would have taken Epstein off of his suicide watch.

This smells of a cover-up by bill Clinton. I believe he hired goons to go in and snuff him out….
I mean it does sound a bit suspicious to me. If he was in a suicide watch cell I think he would have a very hard time to kill himself. I’ve never been in one of those cells personally but I have seen them. I was at Everglades C.I. for some years and they have their suicide cells in the medical building. You only get to have an indestructible mattress and unrippable bedsheet. No clothes or anything. It could only be a few things. Either someone gave him something to use, someone killed him because he asked them to, someone murdered him because they had hate for him or to shut him up, or maybe he’ll be like Elvis and he didn’t actually die. I mean don’t you think if he were to offer a couple of guards several millions of dollars to fake his death and get him out of there that someone would jump on it. Last week I was watching a video on Youtube of a gang member trying to escape prison by putting on a latex face of his daughter Mission Impossible style. Anything is possible
JD He was taken off of suicide watch
It is a shame that Jesse Timmendequas (Megan’s Killer and abuser)did not do the honorable thing that Jeffrey Epstein did. As 1 of 900,000+ registry citizens most of us would not be on any type of list if Jesse T. did what Epstein did !!!!!
I don’t have any reason to doubt that he killed himself but what really gets me is…
“I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody. Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered,” Barr said in a statement. “In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death.”
Where’s the appalled government attorney when an RSO is murdered in county jail? Oh wait, that government attorney is partying with someone just like Jeffrey Epstein.
No. This was a hit job to protect the elite of elites from getting found out and implicated.
**I’ve been sounding the alarm for years on this website. But yet people just don’t want to believe me, or would rather just put their heads in the sand. I don’t know. Either way is a dangerous route to take. It should be becoming increasingly more and more obvious by the day, that we are a country run by criminals. From politicians, to congresspeople, to judges, to lawyers, to law enforcement officers, to heads of corporations, etc… The more laws we allow them to pass over us, and the more power we give them to rule over us, the worse its going to get for us. I don’t know why we think that playing the rules of their system and blindly obeying what they tell us is going to get us anywhere and get us any relief or freedom from the tyranny that they created for us to be in. I mean honestly people, how do you think this country even came into being in the first place?? It’s because brave patriotic men and women almost 250 years ago, got sick and tired of the tyranny they were living under in England/Europe and actually rose up and revolted against the tyranny of their government. Yes, the government fought back, but in the end, our forefathers WON the battle and gained their freedom from tyranny. Meanwhile, we just sit back like sheep to the slaughter and let the govt run roughshod over us day in and day out with constant surveillance, sting operations, the taking of our liberties, making up rules as they go (can anyone say going to register every 6 months??) , passing unconstitutional laws, etc.. and yet the general population and average joes in this country just sit back and let it happen without so much as a peep. Fighting back at this point on a large scale seems meaningless at this point as the government and it’s bureaucracies have just gotten so huge, there’s nothing that we the people can do about this. And as you can see with this Epstein case, if you are a threat to them in any way, they can and will, take you out. God help us.
MJ
I agree with you 100% . Did Epstein commit suicide? Not for a minute. He was too convicted he has enough money to buy his way out as he has always done before.
That’s convinced not convicted. My computer changes words on me often.
Yes you’re correct Dave. His lawyers were working out a deal to only get him 5 years if he spilled his guts.
No telling how many orbers he had potental to expose. Victims are upset because tbey couldnt hang him, like all registered citizens, Hung by an angry lunch mob.
This guy if convicted could implicate many other high profile powerful ppl. He commits suicide while in custody…hmmm, really? …and of course Justice Sullia just dies with any fawl play involved…
A bigger concern to me is the report that came out Friday, implicating some prominent men. All those named adamantly denied the accusations. Yes, they could be guilty, but if any one of them is innocent, I wish him good luck in trying to prove his innocence. When it comes to sex crimes in this country, men are guilty until proven innocent. In some of our courtrooms today, it just takes two female accusers and the man is “sunk”. No corroborating evidence is necessary as the case is tried in the media. There are some jurors who do not have what it takes to stand up against other jurors and the public outcry that will follow when they feel that it is not beyond a reasonable doubt.
In the summer of 2016, the Jacksonville Florida Times Union ran an article on the front page of the Sunday paper (reserved for their more important articles) stating that in Florida the standard had been lowered in some instances as to what it takes to find someone guilty of certain crimes, particularly in sex offense crimes. The article stated that there are defense attorneys, judges, and advocates who are trying to make it so that before you can put a person in prison based on the testimony of one person, you must have at least one other piece of evidence to corroborate the witness’ account. It was also stated that people are being sent to prison because of one person’s testimony, only later to be found innocent. And, of course, the real life example given was a man who had served 18 years of his sentence, all based on the testimony of a 12-year-old girl who claimed she was molested by him. At age 30, she could no longer live with her lie, and came forward on her own, admitting that her mother had her make the whole thing up. He was the mother’s boyfriend and the mother was angry with him.
In a faculty meeting one year, my principal, in speaking to the entire faculty, warned the male teachers to never be alone with a female student (advice I would give any teacher today– male or female). My principal shared with us that in south Florida, three female students came forward saying that the same male teacher had groped all three of them. There was no corroborating evidence. The teacher was heading to prison. One of the three female students finally came forward admitting that it was all a lie. The girls had decided to falsely accuse the male teacher because they ” were mad at him”.
Most accusers are telling the truth, but not all are.
Yeah right, undisclosed people were let into his jail cell. I think he was murdered like everyone else of us out here were worried day to day about when we were in.
When someone is put on suicide watch, extreme measures are taken to prevent such an act from occurring. In jail and prison settings, without the benefit of guns and pills, inmates often resort to suicide by hanging. Anything that could even remotely be used to start this process is ALWAYS removed from the cell. The staff at Manhattan Correctional Center would be well-trained in the procedures that should be followed.
Were staff members negligent? Or did Epstein bribe a guard for the necessary materials? Did he pay an inmate for what he needed? I have known two people under suicide watch. Albeit neither was in jail, the people in charge saw to it that there was absolutely no way a suicide could be carried out.
How did he supposedly do it? With sheets? No one on a suicide watch is allowed to have sheets or clothing or anything that could be used in a hanging?
Knowing the notoriety of this case and the (supposedly) previous suicide attempt, it is difficult to comprehend that the jail had not gone to extreme measures to prevent another attempt. Hopefully, Epstein’s attorneys will have an independent autopsy performed.
Who really didn’t see this coming ?
I believe with all my heart that this whole series of events was put in motion to achieve what has just happened. I think Mr. Epstein had too much damning evidence against some very powerful people. I think this man was assassinated and if so, it shows you what kind of sorry and lawless hypocrites run our government from top to bottom.
One of his clients paid off an officer to make it look like a suicide.
He was on suicide watch? Who supplied him with the sheet, rope, or whatever he used. Suicide watch doesnt allow an inmate to have anything but a cell. I’ll bet the medical examiner is recieving a fat check right now as well.
If Epstein were alive, alot of wealthy politicians, and burocrats would be sweating bullets. Someone took action and secured their futures.
I find this highly suspicious. Considering how many with charges of this nature have been attacked and murdered inside and out. A thorough investigation should be done. Leave no stone unturned. I’m concerned as I do not believe there is anyone truly trustworthy of doing an unbiased and honest investigation. The FBI, is the last organization I trust.
Probably somebody who was afraid of whose names he was going to mention or whatever who either helped him commit his crimes look the other way while he committed his crimes or actually was committing crimes with him , With people who are super super rich super super powerful and have all kind of high up connections who knows . My first question would be if he committed suicide this time and he didn’t do it the first time he was arrested then what made this time different ? The second question would be if he was on suicide watch for an alleged unconscious event then , number one why didn’t we ever hear about the unconsciousness and him being on suicide watch ? Then if he was on suicide watch how then was he able to do it ? Then there’s the conspiracy theories like is he really dead ?,or is the government scamming the people so they can quietly let him go to live in another country where he can continue his trafficking of young girls to certain clients ? Which brings another question we never heard nothing about his clients or any of his contacts or anybody else who got busted because of him trafficking these females Gee, I wonder why.
Thinks to make you say hmm ????
I guess all the money in the world could not get him out….It’s truly sad what this registry does , Makes you crazy! To the point of killing yourself. too much pressure having to fly to New York, then to New Mexico, then to the Virgin Island, and make a pit stop in Florida to visit friends at the palm beach. What a waste of money. Should have donated a million dollars to the Fac fund before departing…..
I’m sorry that was real cold, maybe he was murdered?
As Pfc Gomer Pyle put it……SURPRISE….Surprise………..Surprise!
At the risk of someone who sounds like they might wear a tin foil hat…..
I could see a plea deal to name names, dates and places and an awful lot of high profile people having to hire expensive lawyers and answer uncomfortable questions. Additional consideration given to the international implications… this was suicide, ….in Federal Prison…while under a suicide watch… with a sheet designed not to permit this… I am betting it’s not.
Classic play….eliminate the witness , attack the credibility of the victim, protect the high profile perps.
As someone else said, better guilty and rich than innocent and poor …. unless you happen to be the rich man who knew too much.
He knew too many secrets of too many rich and powerful men. He was murdered before he could cut plea deals and bring others down with him. This is nothing new and the truth will never be known.
No I do not think he killed himself…..tells you just how widespread this really was and just how powerful they are, whoever “they” are.
You probably all know this by now, but Epstein was “found dead” in his jail cell. In my opinion, he was murdered to protect the powerful men who were being implicated of engaging in sex with Epstein’s “stable” of underage girls. $lick Willy is one of those rumoured men.
I was held in protective custody (ie isolation) for four months while the feds conducted their post-sentence classification and designated me to be a “low risk” inmate in a child porn case. I went to trial but lost. During my isolation period, they kept constant watch with a secure video camera in my cell and hourly patrols. The lights were always left on. It was in effect suicide watch. There was no way that I could have killed myself even if I wanted to do so. All this is to say that I deeply believe someone killed Epstein and calling his death a suicide is a cover up.
Now no one else will have standing to challenge the search warrant on his house. Everything will be admissible against any other defendant, without possibility of a motion to suppress.
So his death is bad news for whatever powerful perpetrators are in that evidence. But y’all go on believing your conspiracy theories of it makes y’all feel better.
Yes, the “Hillary did it” conspiracy theorists are already lighting. Up Twitter.
They forget that Trump had a lot of direct ties to Epstein. It is amazing how partisanship focuses on one fact while ignoring the other. Both parties had something to lose here.
Interesting. That is only about 20% of what I remember writing
Part of me would like to say yes he did. But to be honest it’s hard to say 100% he did. He had a book and I believe video of many powerful people doing criminal acts. The fear of exposure is certainly a factor in my mind to murder someone. I be interested to see if there is any video that might mysterious disappear. Been on suicide watch before myself and there was no way I could of done it. Was given no items to be able to and was being watched 24 hrs a day.
I don’t know what to think. I suppose anything is possible including that we may never know the truth of how he died. I can only say one thing and that is I have said many times and people that know me know how serious I am. I will never go back inside.
And if he did take his own life I can understand why he did it. If he didn’t then those that did should be sought out and punished for their crime.
It is physically impossible to choke yourself to death. This is akin to a kid holding his breath until he turns blue. He turns blue, passes out and starts breathing again. Same with choking.
The cause of death isn’t going to reveal the circumstances. Too much money and too many secrets involved to not be suspicious.
