Florida registrant murdered – remains found in suitcase.
19-year-old Lucas Jones of Indialantic, Florida has been charged with second-degree murder after human remains were discovered in a suitcase in a remote area of Palm Bay known as “The Compound.”
Police were first alerted on March 28, 2026, after reports of a suspicious suitcase surrounded by vultures. Inside, officers found human remains, and additional remains were located in a second suitcase nearby. Evidence at the scene quickly linked Jones to the case, making him a primary suspect. A search of Jones’ residence uncovered further evidence, and statements from his girlfriend indicated that she had unknowingly assisted him in disposing of containers in the area where the remains were found.
Jones was initially arrested on charges related to abuse and disposal of a body, but after additional investigation and coordination with prosecutors and the medical examiner, authorities upgraded the charges to second-degree murder. The victim was later identified as a 28 year old man who was reported missing days earlier who was also listed as a registered sex offender in Florida.

AND, they said the registry isn’t punishment? Being murdered seems pretty much punishment. The public site is 100% responsible for many deaths, harm and more. Although a person did the crime and not the registry, the law makers who made the registry are also to blame.
There is more I could say but I would be kicked off F.A.C and maybe get arrested for what my solution is to those who go after us. I will say if that person on the registry fought back protecting themselves, they would probably be executed.
All of us, including me, have had some sort of incident while on the registry, whether your car being scratched on purpose or worse. And when we fill out a useless report, it goes to the “G-C” department, the Garbage can.
are we allowed to attend the court proceedings in this case even if outside on sidewalk demonstrating or this this county impose on or first amendment rights by hampering our free speech with there proximity laws prohibiting us from demonstrating at . near the location? we could carry signs like remove my (son/daughter/child) from this hit list that protects no one, remove my husband, wife, my child that’s on the hit list deserves equal protection to life, etc,,, well you get the point! WE ARE ON A TRUE AND FACTUAL HIT LIST (at the hands of the government creating hate and hysteria) OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND NEED PROTECTION! This is an oppertunty to bring attention to our cause team up with clergy about going there also with signs of forgiveness team up with madd with signs that impaired drivers have more victims then all other criminal groups combined where is their hit list! we need to orginaze at these court proceedings and start demonstrating and get our voices herd!!!!!

Even if we are not physically harmed, we are also targeted by vandalism, harassment, spreading rumors to other neighbors and more. Mental health issues over this is just as bad as being physically attacked in some instances.
Jack, i probably live around an hour of you i think like 30 mins west of Melbourne. anyway truct me you do not have to tell me about the mental issues of this isolation! i live alone for 20+ years no family no one close to discuss things with let alone the deep down things that we all have and would only discuss with very close trusted family or friend. this hit list also creates isolation a feeling or worthlessness, etc… especially being on it long term like us! so trust me i know about mental issues but this could be our opuntinty to get attention in this matter especially for youngsters as there will be lots of media at these court interactions with this case since the people that created the hit list shout protected our children well we need to organize getting people together and march with signs at these court proceedings with sings protect out children remove our children from the hit list, etc… put it back out to them and we can get this to create media attention as this court case in our own back yard will bring world wide media. we can take this tragedy and wake up the public that at some point in time them or there loved one will be on it! look at 20 years ago how many people now are saying get rid of these laws yet 20 years ago the same people were calling us names and saying we are monsters until they or there loved one ended up on the hit list!
well foLks i dont know, where is the clergy at to speak out on these public comments? where is the police at to speak out on these public comments? no one is speaking out for those of us on the hit list we just get tossed under the road more (i was going to say bus but we are much further under then being under the bus!) lets see they hid police and politicians and judges address because of perceived threats but i have yet to see ant like im witnessing today in the public comments of Facebook which is today’s modern town square! the Government allows ice agents (on the payroll of government) to hide there identities, terrorize people, hid their faces etc because or perceived death threats! after witnessing all these comments in town square we the people that are on an ACTUAL AND FACTUAL HIT LIST NEEDS PROTECTION!!! THESE ARE ACTUAL AND FACTUAL HIT LISTS THAT WE SEE OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN REGARDS TO THIS GROUP OF TARGETED HUMANS! WHERE IS THE ACLU DENOUNCING THESE COMMENTS? WHERE IS HUMAN RIGHTS GROUPS WORLD WIDE? AGAIN WE ARE ON THE THE HIT LIST AND ARE TARGETED MORE AND MORE! WE NEED PROTECTION. BUT THEN WE HAVE ELECTED OFFICIALS TRAVAILING LONG DISTANCES TO ATTEND PRESS CONFERENCE WHERE THE GOVERNMENT DOES SWATCH AND BAIT TACTICS ONLINE ON ADULT WEBSITES TO CREATE HYSTERIA CAUSING PUBLIC PANIC AND CALLING THE ACCUSED CHILD PREDATORS LIKE THE RECENT STUNT IN OSCEOLA COUNTY FLORIDA! But not a one was on the hit list! how much did that cost us we the people? how much did the county and state profit or will profit ? how much did the travel cost for the state attorney to travel and the people that travel with him costs? all to throw us under the road more in their publicity stunts and put us on more peoples hit list! Found it in the court documents filed. Document #15 field April 1st. The girlfriend went back to detectives and chanhed her story.

I’m a retroactive person forced to reregister after 17 years removed.
I screamed at FDLE over the phone this was a hit list. Here’s your god damn proof ladies and gentleman of the US congress; and US Supreme Court.
Why in the hell would I be released? Because I passed the court’s requirements. Novel concept.
This mainstream news of widespread vigilantism is becoming increasingly common. And insanely terrifying. Unimaginable consequences beyond judgment day in court.
30 years ago for me. For some people even longer.
Point is without time limits nothing is accomplished. It’s a form of purgatory.
The moral compass that leads the soul to justice has ossified into complete uselessness.
In plain English it’s unconstitutional.

You are not alone. My crime was 35 years ago and I was part of the first group to be added to the registry. Two days after getting sent home from prison, the registry letter came stating I need to go to the sheriff’s office and register.
Hang in there my friend. Although I do not think most of us will ever be released from registration, we have to keep the faith. I was arrested in my late 20s, I am not in my 60s. I really do not want to die on the registry but is looking that way since I have numerous medical issues that got worse in prison since their medical units are a joke. You were lucky to get an asprin.
