Killer of inmate incarcerated for a sexual offense convicted.

It took a Webster County jury a little over two hours to decide that vigilante justice has no place in the American criminal justice system.

The jury convicted Eric Todd Hall, 45, of first-degree murder for the death of his fellow Fort Dodge Correctional Facility inmate Thomas Daleske on Thursday afternoon.

Hall was accused of killing Daleske, 59, in the victim’s cell at the FDCF on June 14, 2020. Daleske was found unresponsive in his cell in the Grove Unit of the prison around 5:15 p.m. on that date.

The defense had asserted that Hall targeted Daleske because Daleske was a convicted sexual offender.

What happens is that in the United States our so called Criminal Justice System/Criminal Legal System is Vengeful and Vindictive and Very Pro-Retaliation, Pro-Retribution and Pro-Revenge. So its A Never Ending Vicious Cycle With No End. Regardless of what happened Two Wrongs Dont Make It Right! Regardless of Mister Daleske’s sex offenses or Mister Hall’s robbery offenses and homicide offense against Mister Daleske. Its all wrong. WE HAVE ALL SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF GOD’S GLORY! I had friends in prison who were homicide offenders/killers and I have friends in society who were homicide offenders/killers. Again past tense were. We need to experience Absolution, Atonement, Closure, Contrition, Forgiveness, Grace, Healing, Mercy, Redemption, Rehabilitation, Remission, Remorse, Repentance and Restoration within the Criminal Justice System/Criminal Legal System and not Retaliation, Retribution and Revenge. Mister Hall Absolutely And Definitely Owes Mister Daleske’s Family An Apology! Let The Healing Begin! Lets Get Away From Retributive Justice And Embrace Restorative Justice!

“I have very little patience for people who take advantage of people who can’t defend themselves,” Hall testified. “I’m normally able to click this off … but I guess I was on steroids … the reason why I got as mad as I did.”

This guy is a complete bigot! What about the people who couldn’t defend themselves from his robbery spree over the years? I guess death should be brought upon him as well. A criminal performing self justice on another criminal, is still a criminal!
