Lauren Book brings in $250K in February as she weighs CFO run
Book had more than $2.18 million on hand as of Feb. 28.
Democratic Sen. Lauren Book added nearly $251,000 in February alone according to the latest fundraising reports filed with the Division of Elections.
The haul comes as Book is considering whether to seek another Senate term or run for the Chief Financial Officer position. She now has a massive war chest containing more than $2.18 million as of Feb. 28.

I’m just hoping that with felons getting their right to vote back, she can get voted out of office.

Hate to say this, however I doubt most felons have any idea who she is. Be for real, before you heard of her on F.A.C did you know who she was? I am a news hound and am up on all the latest and other than on this site, I had no clue who she was.
Plus it seems to be only sexual offenders she is going after so don’t think other felons give her a thought. Of course that is just my opinion but think about it. I doubt the felons who get their rights back will be standing in line to out her.

I agree completely that non-registrants don’t know who she is, but there are a lot of registered citizen in her district, I just don’t know if there are enough.
I do believe it is important to get the news out about her, maybe we can get support from other felons.

That is exactly why many politicians have fought voter rights. They are afraid they will be voted out out of office. I can only hope that many will.
Meanwhile, Floridians with a criminal record are being denied unemployment benefits!

I don’t blame her. If I had back door “access” to that kind of money, where my peers wouldn’t “report” me, I would “steal” it too LOL. Just kidding. I’ve been through therapy for those issues.
Everyone seems to want to see trumps financial, how about the books. The crookedness needs to be exposed. The swamp still needs to be drained. I pray every week I hit millions in the lottery so I can provide money towards litigation against the books and others that promote unfairness of laws the benefit them profiting from it.
I never knew how bad and sad the Book family is until I ran across the Untouchable documentary. It is horrible what a young Laura went through but clearly the dad has guilt issues that he takes retribution on everyone to soothe his feelings of failure. It’s sad the Florida legislature happily facilitates his rage. One other item surprises me, Laura identifies as Democrat? I did a triple take on that news. Lol
