Let’s Keep Our Conversations On Topic and Productive

As our community continues to grow, so does the level of engagement on our website. We are grateful for that. Lately, we’ve seen a noticeable uptick in comments on many of our posts, with some articles receiving over 100 comments. This shows just how passionate and involved our readers are.

However, with that increased participation has come a new challenge: off-topic and irrelevant comments that tend to derail the conversation. When readers post unrelated content or steer the discussion away from the subject of the article, it makes it harder for others—especially those new to our site—to find meaningful and relevant information. It also diminishes the value of the conversation for everyone involved.

We want to remind everyone that the comment section should be a space for thoughtful, respectful, and relevant discussion related to the specific topic of the post. Before you comment, ask yourself:

Am I responding to the topic of the article?
Will this contribute to a productive discussion?
Is my comment respectful to others in the conversation?

If you have something important to share, whether it’s a personal experience, an observation, or a news item related to the registry, but it’s not relevant to the post at hand, we invite you to submit it as a potential article instead. You can email your articles to [email protected], and we’ll be glad to review them for possible inclusion on the site.

This is your platform. We want our website to continue being a place where visitors can contribute to meaningful and productive dialogue about the sex offenders registry. But we all need to do our part to keep the conversation focused, respectful, and on track.

Thanks for understanding and thank you for your continued support and engagement.

P.S. This site has a page for Off-Topic Discussion & Links, where you can discuss anything related to registry news and happenings. The FAC home page has a button link to this page to make it easy to find. Please be sure to check it out.

    Mrs. Darshka
These are the two posts that I referenced. “Also, some new case studies have come out regarding supporters.
The women who write letters to the pedos/preds in jail, fall in love with them, then marry them are very disturbed. The same as the pedos themselves. You have to be really sick to fall in love with one. study suggest…They fear and cannot handle actual relationships in real life with real people. Some women also enjoy being the “noble woman” sacraficing her love to someone they cannot actually have. They enjoy their “suffering” because of their love for someone they cannot be with.” Anyone whom posts claims of research studies, should be able to reference either the research study or the article from which they cite.
