The movie Predators (2025), regarding the old ‘To Catch A Predator’ series with Chris Hansen, is now available to stream on Paramount+. It shows that people involved in the series’ production later had some regrets about doing it. I’m only half way through because it’s emotionally difficult for me to watch. But I think all PFR’s should have a look, if possible.

    https://www.fox13now.com/news/crime/sex-offender-who-commented-on-wellington-minor-stabbed-17-times-by-her-father

A Wellington father was arrested and faces a charge of attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a registered sex offender 17 times after he allegedly made comments his minor daughter.

he admitted to assaulting the man because he allegedly made comments about Gurule’s daughter.

Gurule told detectives that he did an internet search on the victim and discovered that he was a registered sex offender.

Gurule admitted he intended to assault the victim in “an effort to protect his daughter.”

Seems like the registry worked as intended. /s

PSA NOTICE ALERT ****** JUST RECEIVED PHONE CALL FROM ACTUAL SHERIFF’S OFFICE ********

i provided several emails for a new website domain business that i have i think in April or before. Lady that i see when i am forced to take hours to drive to sheriffs office to reg. just called me on my business 800 number costing me money because my personal number automatically blocks unknown calls, computerized calls, etc… through an app i pay for called (never mind this is not about an app) anyway she said last time i went to register they had to remove those email addresses because they come back as not verified. perhaps the spam program blocked fdle emails they send out i’m not sure but they wanted me to make a special trip back into the office to re report these email address.

my point is it seems there may be a glitch in the system that if your server, email program, etc… blocks the fdle email or you do (as there is nothing in the law from what i seen that states you must receive or not block them) it seems to remove them or the sheriff’s office does because the lady said she removed them as she could not go forward with the registration the last time i was in there with out removing those email address as they come back as unverified. so there is in issue in the email reporting system at fdle that is my point. i just received this call today 12-04-2025 around 10:30 am

So law enforcement admitted to having deleted internet identifier info that you had registered, refused to restore that data on their end, told you that you were not allowed to use the FDLE Cyber Communication System to re-register them, and insisted you do an extra in-person re-registration to restore the data they’d deleted?

      Do I have that right?

I don’t recall anything in the statute requiring registrants to help “verify” any internet identifiers. You?

they did not tell me i could not use the FDLE Cyber Communication System to re-register them infact they wanted me to do that, i’m like i guess your sol cause i already did what the law requires me to do. i was just putting this out there as i wounder how many people did not verify there email address or there spam filter or for whatever reason they delete the email from there domain and then recreate it when they go to send email but there are any number of reasons it can bounce back and she explained that because these emails like 5-8 of them bounced back to them or come back as unverified she had to remove them from the system so she could register me. now they want me to ener them online or go in person to re-register them. there email reporting system is broken and they are throwing people in prison for reg. violations when infact it may be the states fault.

Sounds like what she’s doing is illegal. This is an excellent reminder to keep your registration receipts forever and ensure each time that all info is included and correct on them.

A potential case to keep an eye on if the Supreme Court agrees to hear it is United States v. Pheasant (No. 23-991 (9th Cir. 2025)
It doesn’t relate to the registry but to Nondelegation Doctrine and congress ability to delegate acts.
Don’t know if they will appeal since it affects potentially everyone I imagine that they will.
