WHERE, EXACTLY?
Following comments by Miami-Dade Homeless Trust Chairman Ron Book in The Miami Times that there are “plenty” of places where a person subject to Miami-Dade’s 2,500-foot residency restrictions can live, FAC has written to the Homeless Trust with a simple question: Where are they?
We’re asking the Trust to identify the housing it says is available, and to explain what the Trust has done, or plans to do, to help people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness because of these restrictions.
We’re also pushing back on the suggestion that FAC’s data should be “taken with a grain of salt.” The data we cited comes directly from the Homeless Trust’s own data and FDLE’s registry data—not data created by FAC. If the numbers are wrong, tell us which numbers are wrong and why. If there really are “plenty” of places to live, tell us where they are.
We also copied all the Miami-Dade Commissioners and the Miami Field Office Director of HUD (since the federal government just granted the Miami-Dade Homeless Trust $12,000,000).
It’s time for the government and agencies responsible for addressing this problem to answer some very basic questions.

Ron Book is a con man using “child protection” to take taxpayer money while wearing his fake halo.
Correct
I bring felix dean speaking from beyond into this for he had a good message on this also Marshall Project at the end of article, registrant asks …”so where do we go?” Their questions never answered!

I hope that Book gives an honest answer ri the question. I doubt it. He’ll probably have a registrant dragged across state lines for a registry violation just to defend his lies.
Book says there’s plenty of places, like where, the swamp?
He lied. Data he is accountable for contradicts his careless or perhaps intentionally false statements.
Ron Book is hater and creates all the problems there for putting more people on the registry.
