FBI investigating Epstein apparent suicide amid suspicion surrounding his death

The FBI has launched an investigation into the apparent suicide of billionaire and alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, the agency said in a press release Saturday.

Epstein, who was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, reportedly hanged himself Saturday morning, and his body was removed from Manhattan Correctional Center soon after. The timing of his death, which followed a 2,000-page document dump on Friday, as well as the fact that he had been placed on suicide watch following an incident in which he was found unconscious last month, was met with suspicion from many.

While law enforcement officers indicated Epstein had killed himself, the New York City Chief Medical Examiner has yet to make an official ruling on his cause of death.

“We are investigating the cause of death and we have an open case,” a representative said. “There is no official cause of death yet — the medical examiner has to do their job.”

Now no one else will have standing to challenge the search warrant on his house. Everything will be admissible against any other defendant, without possibility of a motion to suppress.

So his death is bad news for whatever powerful perpetrators are in that evidence. But y’all go on believing your conspiracy theories of it makes y’all feel better.

They forget that Trump had a lot of direct ties to Epstein. It is amazing how partisanship focuses on one fact while ignoring the other. Both parties had something to lose here.

Part of me would like to say yes he did. But to be honest it’s hard to say 100% he did. He had a book and I believe video of many powerful people doing criminal acts. The fear of exposure is certainly a factor in my mind to murder someone. I be interested to see if there is any video that might mysterious disappear. Been on suicide watch before myself and there was no way I could of done it. Was given no items to be able to and was being watched 24 hrs a day.

I don’t know what to think. I suppose anything is possible including that we may never know the truth of how he died. I can only say one thing and that is I have said many times and people that know me know how serious I am. I will never go back inside.

And if he did take his own life I can understand why he did it. If he didn’t then those that did should be sought out and punished for their crime.

It is physically impossible to choke yourself to death. This is akin to a kid holding his breath until he turns blue. He turns blue, passes out and starts breathing again. Same with choking.

The cause of death isn’t going to reveal the circumstances. Too much money and too many secrets involved to not be suspicious.
