FBI investigating Epstein apparent suicide amid suspicion surrounding his death

The FBI has launched an investigation into the apparent suicide of billionaire and alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, the agency said in a press release Saturday.

Epstein, who was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, reportedly hanged himself Saturday morning, and his body was removed from Manhattan Correctional Center soon after. The timing of his death, which followed a 2,000-page document dump on Friday, as well as the fact that he had been placed on suicide watch following an incident in which he was found unconscious last month, was met with suspicion from many.

While law enforcement officers indicated Epstein had killed himself, the New York City Chief Medical Examiner has yet to make an official ruling on his cause of death.

“We are investigating the cause of death and we have an open case,” a representative said. “There is no official cause of death yet — the medical examiner has to do their job.”

I guess all the money in the world could not get him out….It’s truly sad what this registry does , Makes you crazy! To the point of killing yourself. too much pressure having to fly to New York, then to New Mexico, then to the Virgin Island, and make a pit stop in Florida to visit friends at the palm beach. What a waste of money. Should have donated a million dollars to the Fac fund before departing…..

As Pfc Gomer Pyle put it……SURPRISE….Surprise………..Surprise!
At the risk of someone who sounds like they might wear a tin foil hat…..

I could see a plea deal to name names, dates and places and an awful lot of high profile people having to hire expensive lawyers and answer uncomfortable questions. Additional consideration given to the international implications… this was suicide, ….in Federal Prison…while under a suicide watch… with a sheet designed not to permit this… I am betting it’s not.
Classic play….eliminate the witness , attack the credibility of the victim, protect the high profile perps.

As someone else said, better guilty and rich than innocent and poor …. unless you happen to be the rich man who knew too much.

He knew too many secrets of too many rich and powerful men. He was murdered before he could cut plea deals and bring others down with him. This is nothing new and the truth will never be known.

No I do not think he killed himself…..tells you just how widespread this really was and just how powerful they are, whoever “they” are.

You probably all know this by now, but Epstein was “found dead” in his jail cell. In my opinion, he was murdered to protect the powerful men who were being implicated of engaging in sex with Epstein’s “stable” of underage girls. $lick Willy is one of those rumoured men.

I was held in protective custody (ie isolation) for four months while the feds conducted their post-sentence classification and designated me to be a “low risk” inmate in a child porn case. I went to trial but lost. During my isolation period, they kept constant watch with a secure video camera in my cell and hourly patrols. The lights were always left on. It was in effect suicide watch. There was no way that I could have killed myself even if I wanted to do so. All this is to say that I deeply believe someone killed Epstein and calling his death a suicide is a cover up.
