Florida County to seek first known death penalty for sexual abuse of a minor.
In a first known case since Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a new law authorizing the death penalty for a sex offense, a Putnam County man will be facing the death penalty for alleged sexual abuse.
The accused, who had a prior (from 2010) sexual assault conviction, is being charged with the sexual assault of two minors in Putnam.

Mr. D
I have heard many people say that they don’t have a problem. I would suggest that you are letting fear drive and control your anger, that you are powerless, Until you admit that you are powerless, you will never let go of your resentments and heal.
I don’t need any help, I’m passionate about making sure this doesn’t happen to others, but [moderated] you proved my point sir. Next. BTW anyone who sexually violates another needs to be [moderated]. Any other questions you have sir, cus victim blaming doesn’t work for me.
Mr D
You hit the nail on the head , these folks are VICTIMS
The registry doesn’t prevent it from happening to other people. Educating vulnerable people and ensuring victims get the therapy and other help they need is the best way to reduce sexual crime. But instead we put billions into a failed registry when that money could be used for real solutions.
I don’t know the full facts of this situation, but here in Florida we have a Sheriff alert of all Pedos in our area and where they reside. So, we make sure we teach our kids about pedos and if there’s one in our area and what they look like. I upload all pedos in my 5-mile radius when they are known to me to all my social media accounts. So far it has been working here.
Mr D
I like your aproach to this problem
Since you know full well that the registry protects no one this seems a lot like projection Mr. D.
But did the residents know or just the local PD? That makes a huge difference sir.
That is a huge difference, but in this case, absolutely the residents knew, his listing was not PD-only, and yet…
It lets us know he was a problem child who should’ve been watched constantly via a Registry.
He WAS watched constantly via registry, and that didn’t work. He re-offensed anyway.
The registry failed to protect anyone as usual.
Thank you for saying that. Time and again the registry has shown us that it doesn’t work except for spite.
For many years now, I’ve been watching the courts system, and these Pedophile lovers pitch a bytch about a perp’s rights, well when you victimize another you lose your rights to have rights and that includes your LIFE if need be. We need to bring back Marshall Mathew Dillon of the Dodge City from the show Gun Smoke for law and order.
Mr D
Always victims, no matter what.
👏👏👏 Mr. D!!! Agree, agree, agree! Bravo! Also believe that just because you “served your time” that’s not a free pass. So what if you served it? Still pedo. It’s a bad destiny to have and that can include all kinds of adversities after prison “release”.
Mr. D, serious question as it is not healthy to be as obsessed as you are with sex crimes. Have you thought about seeking out resources to help you?
Once again, people are not using the correct terminology
Pedophile is Medically Diagnose, DSM-3 by Licensed Medical Doctors that determine if someone is a Pedophile; usually by a 3 Medical Doctor panel
– the Media at large uses the wrong words; just like all the trolls on this site
Sex Offender; that terminology is in the active tense of the English language and is completely incorrect…
Call them Persons Forced to Register
