Today, approximately one-million people in the United States are forced to register as “sex offenders”. The label leads to stigmatization, separation from society, loss of employment, loss of housing and even exposure to violence at the hands of vigilantes. The stigmatization extends to the spouses, children, family, friends, employer and anyone that associates with the registrant. The isolation, shame, stress, fear of violence, loss of income and other psychological effects are experienced by the entire household.

This was the first time I got to see and hear Ron Book. He looks like a power hungry idiot who makes up his own “facts” and ignores truth. The actual recidivism rates among convicted sex offenders mean nothing to him , because he “knows” they will all do it again. People like him need to prove their righteousness in public to cover for their own sinful hearts.
Oh, and by the way Ron, you must have gotten your information from a Phycologist, or someone like them in order for you to say that there is no cure.

Like most ” bullies” Ron Book tried his best to talk over Jeanne Baker. He did his best to keep Ms Baker from getting the facts out ….by talking over her. He talks about there is no ” cure” for Sex Offenders. Ron, it’s not a cancer , or an infection that can’t be cured. With awareness and therapy there will be even a greater number of X – sex offenders who won’t be repeating the thought patterns that gave themselves permission to commit their sex Offense in the first place. Oh, and Ron…not all sex offenders commit sex offenses against under legal age children. Try to remember that… would you.
