UN Petition Update
The petition asks the United Nations to recognize public sex-offender registration in the United States as a violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The campaign highlights the long-term consequences of public registration, including housing and employment barriers, family disruption, homelessness, social isolation, harassment, and obstacles to successful reintegration.

FAC’s federal constitutional challenge asks the court to consider the cumulative effect of Florida’s modern registry system, including lifetime registration, reporting requirements, residency and presence restrictions, travel rules, Internet-identifier requirements, and local ordinances.
Has the modern registry moved beyond civil regulation and become punishment in its real-world effect?
FAC Legal will continue tracking court filings, defendant responses, local-government activity, public statements, and media coverage as the case develops.

FAC Media continues reviewing Florida compliance operations and enforcement actions, including the distinction between new criminal conduct and allegations involving technical registration requirements.
Current areas of focus include reporting violations, multiple felony counts arising from alleged compliance failures, homelessness and housing barriers, local residency restrictions, enforcement costs, and whether enforcement strategies produce measurable public-safety benefits.
