Sen. Lauren Book says no child can be kept safe by DCF

Last year, Senator Lauren Book proposed a bill that enabled DCF (Department of Children and Families) to take a child away from their registrant (person required to register as a sex offender) parent. The bill would have created a rebuttable presumption of dangerousness, thereby allowing for the child’s removal and placement in DCF custody while the registrant parent would have to prove he’s not dangerous in order to get his child back.

No allegations of sexual assault against the removed child and it didn’t matter how long ago the registrant committed their crime.

This year, that same senator, in a statement following the death of a toddler in DCF custody is saying, “ I do not have any confidence that other vulnerable individuals across the state can be kept safe by DCF.”

To any registrant with children, last year’s proposed bill was sick and scary. Thankfully it didn’t pass. Now she’s essentially calling the agency charged with removing our children inept!

It’s scary to have a person with such little experience or insight and who is willfully blind to research or expert opinion, in a position of power.

This comment IS on topic. Our son has signs of slight autism. I just know it’s related to that which he has been accused. Please don’t be part of the censorship that is keeping everyone in the dark.🙏🏼 This info could change EVERYTHING! Please remove this section before posting. Thank you.
    ———————————————
I know an attorney in Orlando who told me she was looking for a way to sue child services. They’re keeping kids years longer than they’re supposed to. Little kids are being disconnected from their families to the point of not knowing them anymore. Possible experiment? MKUltra never really ended? The program requires complete disconnect from family, from other humans in general and from their divine origins.

Bear with me here…… They also force vaccines on foster kids. The mercury (thiomersal) and aluminum adjuvant are KNOWN neurotoxins and have been proven to cause autism, especially the 2 yr MMR vax. 22 studies have proven this.

The nazis put sodium fluoride/aluminum in the prisoners’ food and water to make them “docile”, apathetic to their situation, easier to control. After WW2, Operation Paperclip happened and they started dumping sodium fluoride in public weather supplies in the US. Direct connection! So many historians and professional researchers have proven this. Two US presidents were involved with their father and grandfather funding Hitler directly, who was also Nikola Tesla’s personal secretary. WHY were we never taught anything about Tesla in school?

Autism happens when neurons are damaged/disconnected or destroyed and are no longer able to communicate. It creates a programmable mind not able to process its own thoughts. They KNOW this and continue to push vaccines even harder. In combination with radiation/airport scanners, Xrays, etc, cancer is a known result.

The neuron disconnect is directly related to lack of impulse control. I read an article about a 12 or 13 year old boy who was behaving sexually inappropriate to a girl in his class. He was described as not being able to control his impulses due to neurology issues/slight autism. My research from there went into vaccines and the Vaxxed documentary.

So I HAVE to wonder…are vaccines behind all this SO/prison slavery epidemic? Are they creating a bigger prison/slavery system intentionally? Is this their engineering of soldiers and law enforcement so disconnected they just follow orders and never question why they are brutalizing and killing fellow humans? I don’t have the time to elaborate further with all that I have discovered, but the evidence all around us speaks clearly and loudly about what they’re doing in the name of greed and profits.

Flu shots contain mercury and aluminum adjuvant…there’s your Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

After everything I’ve seen, I strongly feel that the state should require, and the state pay for, a thorough neurological evaluation in order to prove there are no damages to the neuronal system before they prosecute an accused. I have a very strong intuition and I just know this would be a very big deal in this fight, not just for SO’s but for all accused.

What is happening is intentional people and social engineering on a scale this world has possibly never known. And ALL of it is being done by psychotic, greedy, hoarding disconnected humans, The Committee of 300 at the top and their bought and paid for puppet politicians who have no concern for the general population. They see Earth and every living thing on it as their personal resources. Their sickness makes their enormous bank accounts never enough.

When FAC has any form of a win, I remain hopeful that momentum is building and the resistance WILL eventually overcome the evil empire.🙏🏼

I hope this individual’s son comes through OK. Psychologist Nick Dubin has done some work on autistic individuals accused of sex crimes or otherwise caught in the criminal justice system.

But when I start reading about vaccines, Nazis, it makes me too embarrassed to direct people to FAC’s site for reliable information. I am praying that FAC does not allow its mission to creep to such things.

Not wanting to face the truth of our reality is what is holding back progress. The truth messes with some people’s minds and they can’t listen. I’ve researched this for 20 years. I’ve researched FULL TIME the past 10 years. So many things happening right now are directly connected to the Holocaust. There is NO longer any doubt. I’ve seen the evidence and it is loud and clear. You can not dismiss the truth just because you haven’t yet found it your self.

Dr Randy Tate has a YouTube channel. He explains the link between vaccines and autoimmune disorders which includes cancer and neurological disorders. Lee Harvey Oswald was involved with the first polio vaccine that contained the monkey virus, SV40. He isn’t the only doctor making these connections but he’s the only one I’ve found making the connections to historical and political events and agendas behind them. Dr John Bergman goes into current events but not so much the history. He does cover extensively the vaccine damages.

Your comment reeks of censorship. You feel the need to control information that disturbs you. I get it, I used to be of that state of mind till I woke up. But who are you to decide what comments should be ok or not allowed based on your personal perspective? Who are you to judge, especially based in your limited knowledge? Limiting information on the basis of one’s personal beliefs is exactly what not just the nazi’s did/still do, but what has been done for millennia.

Free thought expression is the foundation of the great philosophers that formed well-educated societies. Censorship is what has caused the cascading crumbling of wisdom and knowledge and destruction and disconnect of humanity. I’ve watched it happen the past 57 years, by their playbook. I now understand why the world is in such chaos…order out of chaos is their motto!

Do some research on the US Constitution and the Commerce
Clause and you’ll get a big slap in the face of the [previously] hidden fact of what the top of the pyramid thinks of humanity. They consider us ALL slaves/human resources from which to profit at their whim. Our government was radically changed in 1933. You can see the steps that have been taken up to now. You MUST do the research!

UCC UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE. You can read it or watch all the YouTube vids discussing and explaining it. Our entire legal system is based on CANON LAW. There is no such thing as separation of church and state…one in the same.

At first I was in shock. Then I just got really mad. Then I was inspired to shout it from the rooftops what is at the root of the entire system, not just the legislative, judicial, law enforcement, military and prison systems…it includes the medical, educational and all 12 sectors of our reality. They went too far when they came after MY son.

This is EPIC HUGE. When everyone, or at least the majority, wakes up to all this factual, recorded in writing information, we will finally have a chance at the kind of freedom my Cherokee ancestors enjoyed before the European invaders landed and took up occupation here, just as they did before coming here and as they continue to do in other countries to this day. They want the whole planet for them selves, to rule over their subjects in perpetuity.

The truth is out there…go find it!

I know this thread is old, but do you know the name of the Orlando attorney. DCF is doing exactly (to my belief) what you are saying and a few woman and myself are looking for others and NO attorneys will touch DCF to sue over illegalities that can easily be proven, no question asked.

Looks like Lauren’s confusing “child sex doll” bill SB 160 also includes criminal and racketeering activity, perhaps to give it a better chance of passing?

It seems that Lauren has like-minded fellow legislatures. A quick search of filed bills reveal more registered citizen disenfranchisement:

HB303 (Rommell) Luxury Ground Transportation Companies [Uber, Lyft, and any that uses an app] cannot hire registered citizens.

SB346 (Brandes) Conditional Medical Release excludes registered citizens.

HB 177 (Daniels) Restoration of Rights – I don’t understand this one, maybe FAC can interpret?

Oh yeah, there’s a LOT of confusion going around!

Have you heard the news that The Clinton Foundation is involved with child trafficking? Or about politicians involved in Pizza Gate?

      WHY AREN’T THEY IN PRISON?

Because they are all part of the same self-serving heirarchy that has set them selves above the rest of us. There hasn’t been an honest president that cares about WE THE PEOPLE since Kennedy and it was a president after Kennedy that killed him.

Read, Family of Secrets, by Russ Baker and you’ll find out who.

      And this:

      And read this:

      https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/esp_sociopol_bush19.htm

Watch the two Dark Legacy documentaries. Available on Amazon and maybe Netflix.

That’s just a few sources that will help you understand our current reality, why the US has more incarcerated souls than the rest of the world…it’s greed. It’s a psychotic sickness of never feeling like they have enough. They lack heart and gratitude. Power and control is all they crave.

We have a chance at really changing everything as more people wake up and learn our real history and the identities of the real criminals.

NO REAL CHANGE is possible until all the phony made-up laws are exposed, and why, and who and what is behind it all.

    Lauren Book proposes Alyssa’s Law…….

    https://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/parkland/florida-school-shooting/fl-ne-nsf-silent-school-alarms-20181220-story.html

I don’t think a silent alarm is the way to go. If a shooter is unaware the cops are coming, he/she continues to shoot. When the cops arrive, there is chaos since they don’t know who or where the shooter is so they start shooting anybody who moves.

I can see she put a lot of thought into this, so much so that it probably gave her a migraine.

    Reply
    • January 22, 2019

And what exactly would this silent alarm accomplish that hasn’t already been done by on scene security calling 911?

The fact that she put shooting victim’s name on it tells me there’s something else in the proposal; less-than-ethical something in all likelihood.

And finally, the woman is an idiot. Regardless of whatever may or may not have happened to her in her youth, she is no more an expert on child safety issues than she is a brain surgeon. It’s almost comical how absurd her proposals are.

Everybody has heard the phrase “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”
A perfect example of that are the slave codes of the ante-bellum Deep South. They have morphed slightly over the past 150 years, first into the Jim Crow laws of the last century, but then the original virus has re-emerged across most of the U.S. as sex offender laws. Consider…
All the provisions of the code find new embodiment in state legislature sex offense laws and regulations.
For example, I was released from prison on December 5th, 2014-from a small “plantation” to one that covered four or five counties in Central Illinois. But I still “have no rights a white man(or anyone-today) is bound to respect”.
    1. My family bonds are subject to arbitrary decay and neglect, with my government master refusing all permission to travel outside this “plantation” where I am forced to reside.
    2. I must pay an annual tax of one hundred dollars to certify my address, name, internet particulars, vehicles, bank accounts, assets, my likeness, and a further fortytwo dollars every month to satisfy my supervisor’s interest in all my online activities.
    3. And a further threat to “sell me south” if I don’t also pay out over the course of several years hundreds of dollars more in “Therapy fees and polygraph tests” ad infinitum, and ruin the only automobile I have into the bargain by racking up 140 miles a week in round trips to the site of “therapy”. A 25 year old car won’t last much longer under such a regimen.
    4. And if I should decamp on any of the above, the Fugitive Slave law of 1850 (never rescinded anyway) is back in effect. And Georgia-type chain gangs have never really gone away either.

What I find MOST difficult to understand about all of the above, given the supposed sanctity of the United States Constitution-that all elected representatives of the government and court officers of the judiciary are sworn to uphold, that not only MY individual state of affairs could exist, but EXTEND itself to literally TENS OF MILLIONS of other US citizens (if one includes the families of the 900,000 souls so affected).

It sounds as if you’ve been paroled an alternative to imprisonment for the punishment of a crime.

Would you not bare any burden pay any price to finish your sentence on the outside? Parole is a sweet alternative to imprisonment. Consider it a blessing and a gift. You have been given a second chance. Don’t fuck it up.

I don’t know about you…. But I plead guilty to, was punished for the crime I committed.

I brought all this, the registration requirements, residency restrictions, the stigma of being branded a sexual predator upon myself.

But, let’s call these requirements and other obligations what they really are.

A life time punishment retroactively applied without the benefit of finality.

        For CMC…
I had COMPLETED my sentence when I was released nearly five years ago. I am still on Supervised release because I refused to continue with “treatment”, driving 70 miles per week just to hear people in the group referred to as “pieces of sh*t” and being forced to pay 30 dollars (in cash) plus gas to sit there for an hour and a half, and then commit to endless polygraph tests at $360 a pop (in cash, also) Even if one passes it, you have to continue taking them for “maintenance”. My offense was in reality a function of journalistic curiosity-having been a writer for the last forty years with commercially published novels and documentary television scripts. False evidence was used to convict me on a possession count. I am still on this slavery treadmill because even though my actual offense was real in that I fell for a sting to find out more about a subject I knew nothing about up until that time. I was railroaded into prison as so many of us are because the First Amendment is no longer the law of the land as it once was. In fact the whole bill of rights is non-existent in actuality for SOs in this country and for a lot of others who are in “disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes”. If you can lawyer up with a phalanx of thousand dollar suits, you can beat almost any charge the government can bring. Read the newspapers…you see it nearly every day. Some of the South Florida judges now sitting in judgement and sentencing people to lifetime registration and supervision were appointed by the biggest un-indicted sex offender POTUS than anybody on the Registry ever thought of being.
I’m sorry, but I have no parafilias at all, and am still counting on Curzon v. the Director of the Missouri Dept of Health SCOTUS judgement which points out that any competent adult can refuse medical treatment they neither want nor need.

Unlike you, failure to comply with any of the special conditions of my probation, which included the successful completion of sex offender treatment and annual polygraphs, would have sent up the road to Raiford State Prison for 25+years. I had a choice between my masters: The warden or PO. The choice was easy. I did what I had to do, what my paper required, to complete my term of probation, my sentence and move on.

For me compliance was the most cost effective and easiest option.

Reporters love controversy and catching double-speaking politicians – here’s a pretty good example. Her silence after that high school shooting last year is another good one.

See, people don’t get it! People abused by the system could just reach out to the hundreds of Facebook friends they had and the people who have known them their whole life could help! But wait! These men have no voice! Facebook banished them! Freedom of speach!? Packingham case says even registered sex offenders can use Facebook. Facebook still bans them though. Facebook claims to be a private company that because they are private can ban who they like. They ban people the government TELLS them to ban. They accept government funds. Government agencies post official statements on Facebook. Additionally, not only are the registered sex offenders banned, but all of the statements ever posted on his “wall” by others are forever gone too. The future we live in is to find Facebook “walls” of people who are political activists, place naked pictures of children on their computers and frame political activests as sex offenders, then take down the Facebook wall where everyone used to get their news. In 2016, USA Today posted an article that the FBI runs a large child pornography website. What they didn’t tell you is how easy it is for the FBI to hack into your computer to make it appear you visited their site! Oh, and the FBI is supposedly “looking into the murder” of the inmate who died at Western Correctional Center in Mount Sterling, Illinoie yet somehow are inept to get past the HIPPA red tape to find evidence of all the other inmates being beaten nearly to death there. Sarah Culbertson Hospital has records of the other beatings, but these records will never see light of day. Anyone want the names and inmate numbers of the other beaten inmates? I didn’t think so! Slavery is open for business in USA! In Angola prison, black inmates pick cotton on the grounds of the plantation that preceded the prison while white correction officers watch while on horseback. The inmates get paid $1 per day for their work. Maybe they can eat a Ramen noodle tonight!

The more I hear Lauren Book’s abuse narrative, the more I believe that at the very least, her story is an embellishment of what really happened, and at worst, it is a complete fabrication. Lots of people lie about their stories for various reasons.

Lauren Book is a person of below average intelligence who brings little to the table. She obviously can’t run things on her own. After all, I’ve had multiple people tell me her daddy has even been answering the phones at her representative offices and returning her calls for her. Her dad is a very shrewd man. It is entirely possible certain things were made up.

Here’s an equally plausible scenario. the Nanny walked in on the Book family engaging in some kind of illegal activity, like some government bribery or worse. In order to shut her up, they made an accusation and had her locked up. This woman was an immigrant with little to no English skills and was going up against a corrupt South Florida government with Ron Book writing checks to judges and other officials.

If anyone thinks the Book Crime Family would not use the courts as a way to intimidate or eliminate people they don’t like, just remember they dragged me to court claiming I was somehow “stalking” them through peaceful protest and online criticism.

What exactly does “being effective” look like?? As far as I know, we STILL have RSOs living homeless in Miami and really all over the state. Duval County in Jax actually has the most number of homeless RSOs in the state. I know it’s being fought in court, but again, how long is that going to take??? Years? Decades? The court system doesn’t give two sh**s about the RSOs and they aren’t trying to give them any relief in a quick amount of time. And pretty much everything else we suffer with is STILL in place. We had a little victory with the FDLE having to back track on the Identifier case, but again, there’s a place for Derek’s brand of activism and once again he’s right. The Books are nothing but liars, so who’s to say they wouldn’t lie about the whole abuse narrative? Again, has anybody bothered to talk to Waldina Flores??? By the way, she’s located at Lowell CI in Ocala in case anyone would like to write her. I really wish Feige would have interviewed her in prison. That would’ve been really interesting.

And @ Derek, I’m not a Michael Moore fan, but I wonder if someone could reach out to him to see if he’d be willing to do a docu on RSOs? I also wish someone would do a docu just on the sting ops here in Florida and follow the money trail that leads all the way back to the Feds giving grant money to task forces that increase prosecutions in child sex crimes as specified in their guidelines and the formula to get the grant money. That would REALLY open some eyes there. It’s NOT about keeping kids safe, it’s all about getting milllions in grant money. All the while ruining the lives of good men and their families.

In any event, CDC, look up the Yellow Vest protesters and find out just how “effective” they are. It’s radical protests and activism, and it’s getting things done over there in France. So, there’s a place for it. How long are you gonna sit back and let the govt fk you in the a$$ with all the residency restrictions and reporting nonsense before you just snap and say “I’ve had enough” . You’re not gonna get the relief you want in court. You’re too poor, you’re not part of the elite club, and you’re not a politician or a lobbyist or John Morgan. So, the only way to get your relief is to be radical. But unfortunately, there’s not hardly any of us that are willing to go that route, so in the meantime, we’ll just sit back like little puies and let the courts “sort it all out” while people like the Books and other spineless legislators continue to pass ridiculous SO laws to make themselves look good and make our lives even more miserable.

The yellow vest protest are a conservative economic movement. Comparing that to sex offender registry laws is a stretch. The way to fight these laws is in the courts, lose? Appeal to a higher court all the way up to the supreme. This is how we have gotten our legislative wins. I know the registry has hurt you to the point that you just want to do it take the streets and scream at people to look at the comments on YouTube of Derek arguing on CNN Public Opinion does not support us so you gotta take the courts.

Yes @DS it DOES take both. I don’t care if the Yellow Vest protesters were protesting the government turning ketchup purple or something. The point is, their cause is getting international attention because of their bravery to do what they’re doing. Seeking relief in the courts is a complete waste of time. Again, I’ve compared it to the Jews going to the commanders of the concentration camps asking for them to relieve their harsh restrictions. The judges, lawyers, lobbyists, and politicians are ALL in bed together and scratch each others backs. It seems like every case discussed on here keeps bouncing back and forth between this appeals court and that appeals court and most of the time gets nowhere. The Identifier case is the only exception. And the same restrictions still hold, we just prevented them from getting worse. So while all of our causes get bogged down in court, 30,000 of us and our families are still suffering day after day after day. The courts see us like a kitten playing with a ball of yarn on a fishpole string. They’re just playing with us. They don’t seriously want to ease ANYTHING on us, just like Macron in France had no intentions on easing taxes, as a matter of fact, he was about to make it worse until people started tearing his city apart. ****Why are people so scared to be radical these days???? Why are people so content to just sit back and cross their fingers and just “hope for the best?” And furthermore, why do people think our justice system, owned and ruled by the uber rich, think that us “peons” are going to get any help from them at all??? Every revolution in history started because the government got out of control and kept oppressing people until those people got fed up and fought back, literally fought back. Our forefathers would look at us today and be appalled and would disown us. And they should. We’re nothing but a nation full of sheeple who sit back and let the government run all over us. And I’m sick of it. Good for Derek. Maybe he’ll start a real revolution one day, and when he does, I’ll be right there supporting it.

MJ is right! There’s nearly a MILLION of us now, TENS of MILLIONS if you count all our family members. We should all arrange to meet in D.C. wearing yellow star armbands and demand this government stop paying homage to the Third Reich with their denial of nearly all our Civil Rights! The newly passed passport laws identifying us as the new “Jews” in this evolving fascist Congress, which is just the most recent Constitutional outrage. Congress should restore the Bill of Rights to ALL U.S. citizens, and most especially those of us who are honorably discharged veterans from active war zones. If you mistakenly did both the crime and the unconscionable time for a no contact, non-violent offense with no identifiable victim, that should allow one the complete freedom to re-enter into society. The crimes of legislatures criminalizing natural laws of biological sexual expression and hounding such people into their graves must STOP!

CMC, you obviously don’t know what being effective. I have a better track record than many other so-called activists out there. I have helped stop a number of bad bills from passing, have been in the media more times than anyone not a part of a national group, and have helped thousands of people through my website. That’s called being effective.

Lawsuits aren’t the only solution, and quite frankly, I don’t believe lawsuits in FloriDUH, especially South FloriDUH, will never be effective. The corruption there is too deep. But the Books are, as Feige put it, “skittish AF.” They’re just as afraid of us. They spend tens of thousands on security and legal crap out of fear of registrants protesting them and confronting them. I find that hilarious. Now imagine if all those folks down in Miami stood up to these fools!

The only reason ANY strategy we have tried fails (other than the lawsuits, where the Books have their biggest allies) is because of cowards like you who are too afraid to get involved. It is very easy to drown one man or even a dozen people with blue and purple smoke and a gang of wannabe bikers. But had everyone stood by me instead of condemn me out of fear, I imagine the Rally in Tally would have had a far better outcome. Hell, even though I only had a dozen attendees, the Books completely altered their stupid walk cross Florida because they don’t like people asking them about the atrocities they have committed.

I respect people willing to make a real difference instead of playing armchair QB. What have YOU actually accomplished, CMC? What are YOUR credentials?

I stand with Derek on this as well. sitting at chair playing keyboard warrior isn’t helping each other. It is getting out there and doing something I am not Latino nor Mexican But I was asked to helped in down town Phoenix protesting racial arrests. I held a sign about sheriff Joe must go!! I make this suggestion few weeks ago and yes I did say some unkind words. But people need to wake up and start fighting back. Thousands now living on streets being forced to live in cane fields and swamps.

@Derek: Surely, your verbal attacks and abusive posts towards one of the States must powerful lobbyists and his daughter, a victim of horrific child sexual abuse, founder of Laurens Kids, now a State Senator, is the most effective way to elicit public support.

Fact is, your so called activism has effectively made things worse for us down here in FloriDUH. Because of it “SENATOR” Lauren passed a bill requiring in person registration within 48 hours of any temporary vacation or business travel of 3 days or more. I can’t help but believe that you where the target of this piece of legislation.

Fact is I am outraged by your verbally abusive behavior towards “SENATOR” Lauren Book. fact is your “Brand” of activism is neither helpful or effective, rather counterproductive.

CMC – Your opinion is respected, as is Derek’s. We need to remain respectful of others and should NEVER attack a victim. That said; Derek’s criticism of Lauren Book is not an effort to show contempt for what happened to her as a child, but challenging her policies as a legislator.

Lauren Book’s anger towards our population, combined with her (and her father’s) powerful position, enables them to pass legislation designed to punish, not prevent. They are willfully blind to scientific research, empirical evidence, opinions of experts (including government experts) and best practices. This agenda is also very profitable for them, which is another motivation for the laws they pass.

It was absurd that Ron Book came to testify in the Miami-Dade SORR case (incidentally, the law is named after Lauren Book). The fact that Mr. Book is Chairman of the Homeless Trust AND the person creating the homeless problem should have been a blatant conflict of interest when it came to this mess. In other areas, he would have been disqualified, but again, power and money lets him get away with it and having his daughter in State government as his proxy only makes it easier.

FAC has reached out to Lauren Book MULTIPLE times to extend an olive branch or to see where we can find common ground. Fact is she ignores us ever time. As our legislator she should be hearing out her constituents – but she won’t even acknowledge us. She does know Derek though!

Derek unquestionably has taken steps to piss off the Books which (Ron Book said it himself in “Untouchable”) fueled the fire and led to some bills in retribution. It also unquestionably led to the legal challenge that he’s involved in with the Books (Lauren got a ridiculous restraining order against him, which he’s appealing). FAC has clearly disassociated itself from his rally and some of his comments. However, you have to respect the guy for speaking out.

So long as people are doing it independently (and not on behalf of FAC) when someone “shows up” and “speaks out” we need to respect it. Just like we respect your criticism of Derek. Who knows what method is effective?!?

And i believe activism that personally attacks directed towards any individual rather than what is being legislated should be shunned and admonished as unacceptable.

                  Its simply ineffective.

                  @CMC,

For what it’s worth, I think it’s very naive to think that everything the Books do is in reaction to Derek’s activism and/or they would ease up if he were to stop. Book’s activism was publicly known long before Derek or anyone else ever stood up to the lunacy that the registry has become.

More and increasingly absurd and ineffective laws and parole/probation rules are proposed and passed every year, mostly based on extremely rare events. Ironically, the new laws/proposals would not have prevented the events that inspired them. Others, on pure phantasms – things that never have and are unlikely to occur. The “just do what they say to show we’re harmless then they’ll back off” attitude hasn’t come to fruition in the 20+ years of the public registry, and I don’t see any indication that it ever will. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Lauren Book has proposed legislation to require out of state registrants to pre-register before registering to visit Florida, prohibit registrants from buying sex dolls, and a separate registry for those who hire prostitutes to be overseen by the same DCF she denounced only days before. Not a single one of her proposals have any historical, empirical, or even theoretical basis. Nor did they have anything to do with Derek or any other activist or organization; she’d have proposed them whether she had ever heard of Derek or not.

I personally can’t get over her stone silence in the wake of the high school shooting that happened IN HER VERY OWN DISTRICT, which I find alarming due to her public position on the protection of children. Apparently, killing children is perfectly okay as long as there’s not a sexual component to their slaying.

Lauren Book’s victimhood – whether genuine, exaggerated, or fabricated – does not make her an expert on child safety or anything else. I’m betting that the weight given to her proposals and ideas by her colleagues in the legislature is directly proportionate to the number of colleagues who want to attend her father’s cocktail parties.

Personally, I will tell Lauren Book to her face everything I posted above if I ever get the opportunity, and I don’t care if she takes it personally. My opinion that she is a bobble-headed idiot mouthpiece for her father is based entirely on her actions in recent years and has nothing to do with whatever might have happened when she was a teenager. She has absolutely no regard for the feelings or livelihood of registrants or their friends and families, so I see no reason why they should have any regard for hers. The fact that “I’m a victim” and her father’s Visa are the only two cards she can ever play should be a pretty clear indication of the reasoning and projected effects of her ideas.

Like it or not, some audacity is required to change the status quo. That means sometimes pissing people off and hurting feelings. “Taking the high road” doesn’t always mean you won’t get lost.

For several years now I have supported Derek and worked with him in a public awareness campaign, as Joseph said playing keyboard warrior does nothing. Lauren Book pissed me off by saying all supporters of Derek are pedophiles, that includes me! Lauren Book has been and will continue to place vindictive and cruel laws no matter what. She claims to be a survivor but she is actually a forever vindictive victim. I am working hard to abolish registries for everyone, that includes you! I truly hope you are not a keyboard warrior or armchair quarterback, do you do anything more than criticize and demean those you are jealous of or disagree with?

FAC, I am so grateful for and encouraged by your response. Our current political climate is based on personal attacks and issues get lost in the mud slinging. We don’t attack people… we attack the problem. I’m proud to be a member of FAC.

Ok I’m going to throw a different opinion in here, shocking, I know. ….but why is Derek’s blunt synopsis and comments always criticized and dismissed as crazy and childish and not productive?? I mean that is a very plausible scenario he painted there. Waldina Flores could have very well walked in on something she wasnt supposed to see. My thing is has ANYONE wrote Flores in prison and asked her for HER side of the story?? As a matter of fact, I think I’ll do just that. Make it a goal of mine this year. I mean, it’s obvious Ron and Lauren are mentally ill people. Untouchable showed that point brilliantly. I love the scene where Feige showed Ron getting dressed in his huuuuge walk in closet with literally 30 designer watches to choose from. 30!! And it also showed him almost hitting someone in his car while texting and driving. Feige was brilliant. He really made the Books look stupid. But Derek is entitled to his opinion and I don’t see anything wrong with his style or methods. Blunt, extreme, out of the norm tactics gets results. But no one in our camp us willing to do those things because of fear and embarrassment. Derek is the only one willing to put himself out there that way. I keep referring to the Yellow Vest Protest but most of yall probably have no clue what I’m talking about. They are taking Paris by storm with their extreme tactics and its spreading like wildfire.

If Florida wants scorched earth , I say we give it to them …..literally. But I’m tired of the criticism of Derek when hes just trying to do things differently than just about everybody else that’s too scared to do or say what’s on their minds. Ron and Lauren weren’t scared to be blunt and extreme and look where it got them.

Ehh, most of yall just dont get it. I’m waiting my time. The more we sit here and try to play by the rules and act scared to do or say anything extreme or unorthodox, the more we’ll just sit here and be in worse situations than what were already in. Nothing will change but only get worse. If our forefathers didn’t stand up after they’d had enough of the government sticking it to them, we’d be nothing more than a British commonwealth today and we’d all be speaking with British accents. Thank God for revolutionaries. They get stuff done. Keep going Derek. You have my support. Somebody has to be an extreme voice for us. Hell. And for those of you who dont like his style, well that’s your prerogative.

I’m with M.J. on this one! The only way evil and injustice triumph is if good men (or women) do NOTHING. As Thomas Jefferson pointed out early on, “The tree of liberty needs the blood of patriots and tyrants from time to time in order to flourish”.
I’d be willing to give mine if I’m not alone on the line.

The only people who like to bash my efforts are either people who don’t lift a finger for this movement or is someone trying to disrupt the cause. This movement has been infiltrated by vigilante groups in the past (Absolute Zero United was on staff at one of the activist groups at the time and stole info on private members to post on Wikisposure). I believe it is happening now seeing as how it is not an untried tactic.

CMC, when you actually do something more than talk trash on a comment board, maybe then I will value your opinion. Kissing the Books asses is accomplishing nothing.
