Vigilante uses signs to get neighbor to move.

An Ohio resident is unhappy that his neighbor is a registrant, so he has posted a banner on his property and pointing to the neighbor’s house, asking travelers down the street to honk and telling his neighbor to move.
This type of vigilantism is not just a nuisance, but it invites the public to harass the registrant by honking at all hours. Eventually someone will do something more nefarious.
Vigilantism is getting more creative every day and they say this is not punishment!

Honking your horn for any other reason than to warn another driver or pedestrian is illegal.
A nice call to the state highway patrol of Ohio would fix the ‘blow horn’ issue.

When I see someone like this who is basically screaming “Look at my Halo, I’m a hero!” I would bet my paycheck that this harasser is projecting. It never fails.

I was once on the SOR. After combined hard work and consistency we took California from where Florida is today to a place of having an actual tiered registry and a better climate. This didn’t happen by chance. Many of those on the registry got involved directly and/or indirectly with ACSOL and groups like FAC. No action is to smell. Support FAC anyway you can. they are fighting for us. Whether by donation, to volunteer or engagement ALL is of value. Me? I have trained a couple of people to engage in the field of battle for our cause in Orlando and hope to train others in Florida to also engage for change as well. We all can do something and/or give something. Blessings…

        Robert

There is a MASSIVE, political divide between California and Florida. Cali being liberal for the most part and Florida being Ultra Conservative. Some states have opened their eyes and their hearts. Florida has turned a blind eye to us and has ignored us, except when they want to punish us more each session with more and more restrictions.
We have made “Some” progress but mostly on things like ordinances that didn’t stand up in court. And each time we get a win, the other side hits us with more and more harsher restrictions, rules, and legislation. If it wasn’t for my family, I would move away to another state.

I hope that no one is hurt due to an uninformed public that doesn’t know that people charged with a sex offense have next to the lowest recidivism rate of any crime. But if someone is hurt, I hope they or their family sues the government. I think that’s the only way this will stop.

This is heartbreaking. Thinking about it haunts me. Doesn’t look like things are getting any better. What I have observed over the last many years I have been following is that still, high profile offenders and ‘knowing someone” can quite often buy your way out of a label Don’t tell me it’s not true
