Miami-Dade County Files Answer Brief in SORR challenge

Attorneys for Miami-Dade filed an Answer Brief this week in our Sex Offender Residency Restriction Challenge currently in front of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

A copy of the brief can be found here: https://floridaactioncommittee.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/160523-Appellees-Answer-Brief.pdf

Since this forum can be accessed publicly, we’ll reserve comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the government’s argument – we’ll leave that to the ACLU’s response.

We will just say that it’s filled with the same BS rhetoric and outdated and misleading information that we are used to reading.

??? Why does anybody bring up the fact that Miami Florida is the porn capital and they collect taxes from these businesses who commit hundreds of sex crimes by definition of Florida statues. Slot of these ports are shot outside, some on and around Miami Beach. Some of which you can actually see children playing in the background. Why hasn’t this issue been addressed? Fight fire with fire!!!!

Like any propaganda. Like other ways to suppress citizens. Tell a lie long enough it becomes truth.
